Speaking of which, did Yoda seem a little more energetic and goofy in episode 5 than in the prequels? If someone mentions Empire Strikes Back to me in the future, the first thing I will think of will be Yoda's, dare I say, perverted laugh when he's going through Luke's stuff. Go watch and you'll see what I mean; it's hilarious.

Okay guys...from the Art of Revenge of the Sith Book there is an entry for January 2004:
"Although this scene is ultimately cut from the film, many concept paintings are created showing Yoda's arrival on Dagobah, the planet first seen in 1980s The Empire Strikes Back. The Jedi Master was to have been seen going into exile after the fall of the Jedi, but Lucas decides that the film-with brief finales on Naboo, aboard a Star Destroyer, and on Tatooine-has too many endings."
I thought that it was a suitable decision as everyone knows he ends up on Dagobah and that he obviously has to use a space ship in order to get there. But even if you have never seen Empire, he mentions he is going into exile. Do we really need to know where or how? The point is he goes and when he's needed, he comes back into the story.
The idea of going to a swampy world was probably two fold. One, its a very remote location, he was unlikely to be found there by anyone. Second, it was a world teeming with life, so it would be storng with the force.
Remember also that there was a cave on that world that was strong with the Dark Side of the Force. Perhaps there was another reason Yoda traveled there? Maybe the television series will touch upon that and explain it further.

Yeah, like in episode I - III he's all serious and not doing that freakish laugh. But I guess he was trying to test Luke's patience.

Its funny that you mention that because they deleted a scene in Sith where Yoda feigns madness on Kashyyyk in order to distract the now bad Clone Troopers so the Wookies can attack them. It was supposed to foreshadow the goofier Yoda we first see in Empire. The art book shows an animatic of Yoda covered in mud and weeds, which he was going to use for his insane routine in Ep III.

Oh, I guess that answers one of the questions I had when I posted the deleted scenes list a few pages ago.

But he still died... If Luke would of done what his father asked him by joining the Dark Side then they wouldn't have this problem. Because apparently if you on the Dark Side and you're very powerful you have the power to bring people back to life. I didn't make up the rules, that's just how it is.

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, the Sith can't bring people back to life. All of that was a bunch of bullcrap that Palpatine used to lure Anakin to his side since he knew Anakin was worrying about Padme dying at child birth and had regretted not being able to save his mother.

Sorry if I'm talking about the Anikan change at Return of the Jedi again, but if Anikan surpossibly died then how could he come back to life and save Luke. I think it's like Luke said, "There is still some good in him" even if he was more machine then human. So I still don't like the change since it dosen't make sense. Obi Wan just told Luke that since it was another way of saying he has turned evil. But there still was good in Vader. Overall I still perfer the older version.

Disneykid would be correct on this one. It was a load of crap Palpatine was handing Anakin to get him to join. Remember that Palpatine told him after he joined that together they could discover the secret.
Up to that point only one person knew the secret was Qui Gon, although that secret was to be able to manifest your prescene after death. It wasn't actually preventing death.
In Return of the Jedi, Yoda and Obi Wan both helped Anakin to reappear for Luke at the end, he didn't do it on his own as he had no knowledge of that power.

Well you see that's what I suspected. Obi Wan should of told Anakin "If Padme dies get over it and go out with someone else!!!" Which, in the movie he said but in a nicer way.
Palpatine is an evil guy, I knew that since the first movie... well not exactly, but I knew he was up to no good. Which, is the reason why it didn't suprize me that he was the Lord of the Sith. That and he's a politition.

It was pretty good. I thought they shouldn't have killed the children.

There was 2 much people being killed. I like Padme.

Well I don't think that was it. I think there was still some good in him still. I mean if him coming back to life was all Yoda's and Obi Wan's doing then how come Darth Vader kept on saying, "You were right about everything Luke". Why didn't he say, "Thanks to Obi Wan and Yoda, I'm alive again for a little bit". I sense a new change when they release Star Wars again.
