According to
Disney´s official site, this release is going to include both a 5.1 Disney Enhanced Home Theater mix track and a 5.1 DTS track. Sounds promissing!

Cool, a release date for the sequel DVD. Now, look at the site for the DVD; doesn't that picture of Woody and Buzz look a lot better than the picture they have on the cover now?
An all new game? Oh man, I thought that PIXAR had learned not to put games on their DVDs since Nemo and The Incredibles.

However, I'm worried by this in the specs:
New Games!

I'm so excited about the tenth anniversary release! Toy Story is one of my all time favorite movies. I've got the "Toy Story 2 Pack" with both the films but they have very little bonus features so I'm really looking forward to these releases of both Toy Story and Toy Story 2

True that. But I think if they changed the cover again, it'll just be worse.

I've heard rumors that there might be a third Toy Story movie... but without Pixar. That really stinks if it's true 'cause while I love the Toy Story characters, only the people at Pixar can handle them properly.

If Disney wants to make the TOY STORY trilogy they BETTER make it with PIXAR!!! I also think it would be sweet if the 3rd movie would be a prequel, showing how the TOYS were made in the factory, shipped in boxes, and how it got to ANDY!!!

Uhh...sorry to burst your bubble, man, but that's not a rumor; it has been officially confirmed by Disney that they are proceeding on production of Toy Story 3, and sequels to Pixar's other films (Monsters, Inc. 2 is the next up) without Pixar's aid. Do a search on the forum and you'll find information on it.

I've been wondering about something that I think I was always right about. Isn't it impossible to make a sequel to Finding Nemo unless they lose Nemo again? I guess they could make a story about the parents getting together but I don't see that being longer than 30 minutes before losing anyone's interest.

It doesn't really need a sequel, but you can do some other sort of adventure with the same characters without Nemo getting lost again. Might not be easily called "Finding Nemo 2" but it could be done.

45 minutes of new featurettes, deleted scenes not featured in the Toy Box, and better organized galleries are all tempting me to double dip (not to mention the fact that this and the Toy Story 2: SE will match much better with my other Pixar DVDs). Once again, Luke's review (which will undoubtedly be far more in-depth than the others so far) will be what makes me decide.

I'll pass on any review that starts like this:
All right, I'll get it out of the way right up front: I hate Disney movies.
and ends like this:
I'm dropping its score a half-point for lack of cool packaging and for the fact that after Toy Story 2's special edition comes out the day after Christmas, I'm sure there will be another box of the two films we can buy.

And also he goes on to say this:
But for whatever reason, I don't like Disney - and Disney probably doesn't like me - so it's the highest of praise from me when I say I absolutely love the world of Toy Story.
Then read the other one. Bottom line is both said that this DVD is very good!

I just wish Disney would release it before summer is over just so most of us can enjoy it before going back to school. But I guess I should be happy that it's
finally coming out.
Anyone buying two copies?
