If you mean the Ducktales movie, it was released in the past but exclusively to Target stores. So try your local Target store, might still find it around if you are lucky.
The quality of the Ducktales movie is quite bad though, they made no attempt at restoration and it is the worse quality I have seen on any Disney DVD release.

EDIT:
Just read the news about Ducktales series been released in Region 1, so I expect you meant the series.
Buena Vista have not released any animated series as a collection in Australia so far. We didn't get Gargoyles season 1 or the Spiderman 1960s collection. We didn't even get the recent series release of the Fantastic Four, instead we got a few episodes on a single volume. So I doubt we will see these boxed sets released, but I would really like to be proved wrong...

Sorry, I did mean the season. I have the Movie sitting on my desk - I found it luckily in Target one day.

I'm just going to order it from the US anyway - all Australian Sony DVD players are multi-region so it doesn't bother me.

I'd hold on unless you really can't wait.

I wouldn't have thought that R4 was going to receive Golden Girls or Home Improvement, but we are several seasons in for both now. I hold high hopes for a local release of the cartoons.

I just ordered mine - Windows can handle NTSC and I've Got a Program that 'Hides' the region encoding, meaning I can play it back on my Media Center PC (Connected to the HD LCD TV) and my laptop.

i have similar software, and it usually works fine, but sometimes i find that it takes up too much processing power or doesn't quite translate a frame properly. What I usually do is buy the region 1, then rip it and burn it region free, which is made possible by the said software.

Yeah I can wait for a bit, but its a bit of a shame that it wasnt released at the same time as the one in the states. Just have to wait a bit longer i suppose...
