Not as cartoonish as Sonic, and his expressions were far better too . Sure we have to see if the rest of the movie has the same quality as the teaser, but after comparing, they made a good job here so far.

The basic model looked good but I didn't like his facial expressions.

When asked about Stitch's legacy as a character and what it was like to voice the beloved Disney icon again in the upcoming remake, Sanders had the following response:

"I like that the story and the characters have endured. It was my wish that the story and characters would have staying power, and I'm really glad that they have. I've never stopped doing the voice. I do it for all the different stage shows and parades and everything, and it's nice to, several times a year, be able to revisit that character."

He's doing it for a paycheck, because why wouldn't he? But creatively I think he kinda hates it. He has not liked previous live action adaptations, and I don't expect that to change with his baby. He know what we all do, that the original is the best, and the live action will most likely miss the point and appeal of the original.

And in this live action they have a whitepassing actress with no native hawaiian ancestry as Nani and they almost got a whitepassing actor for David (who they fired for having old tweets and replaced with a good choice)

At least Lilo actress is like Lilo

It's sad because Nani is the best and most emotional and deep character from the original movie, and I would have loved to see a dark-skinned indigenous actress get that opportunity
