I've come to think that this is the first time in a decade that we're getting two WDAS features with human female leads/Princesses in a row (unless you'll count the gap between Brave and Frozen :P). Which reminds me how it was last decade when we got The Princess and the Frog and Tangled right afterwards. I wonder if we'll going to get a teaser of Raya early next year, to recreate the buzz and synergy of WDAS habit of repetition.
We got Zootopia and Moana in the same year (plus Finding Dory).

Well, Zootopia and Finding Dory weren't exactly features with Princesses/human female leads. Sorry to nitpick.

You're right. I didn't notice the human part.

Out of all the animated movies of next year's this is my most anticipated !

I really hope Awkwafina get to improvise a LOT during voice recording !

I think the result would be GREAT.

Two questions about this movie

1:Will more voice actors be added to the cast later ?
2:Who will compose the score for this movie ?

Yes . There are LOTS of characters from this movie we haven’t been introduced to.

Thank God !

The more voice actors in a movie the better !

This had better be true. Although Mother Gothel is hardly my idea of a good villain.

This is my most anticipated animated movie of next year and along with Dolitte and Mulan one of my overall most animated movies !

Wonder if and when more voice actors for this movie will be revealed ?

Mother Gothel was definitely not on the same level as Maleficent and Cruella. At all.

Sure but at least she had a unique flair to her which aside from her and Dr. Facilier none of the other villains of the Revival era did. Slim pickings, I know.

I didn't mind Tamatoa despite not having as much as screentime as traditional villain and not really being the big bad of the film.

PLEASE let this have a traditional big scene stealing villain with lots of memorable moments instead of third act twist

I beg you DISNEY !

I actually liked King Candy/Turbo but most everyone else doesn't rank him as a great villain.

I agree that she's not on the same level as them, but I really like her. She's definitely my favorite villain from the revival. My second one would probably be King Candy or Dr. Facilier.

I hope it's true that this movie has a traditional villain. I don't mind surprise villains or films with no real antagonist if they're well done, but a traditional villain would be refreshing after so many surprise ones.

The way i feel about King Candy is on paper is weak. But the voice promfefece elevated the character to become really memorable and good.

I think That’s Why Alan Tyduck has been in every Walt Disney animation studio movie since. Without the great delivery by him( and the Equally great Swedish voice for him) King Candy would have been rather boring.

Also i too think Mother Gothel is a really good villain. When i see Tangled in theaters at age 13 she became my second favorite Disney villian after Hades !

I never liked King Candy as I felt he was a knockoff of the Mad Hatter. Both his design and performance was way too similar to that character which was distracting and made him less unique and special.

I liked him, too, although the design was probably limiting to what he could do. He had great voice-work, anyway.

Yeah, but she's still B or C level. I can only hope that if there is a villain in this, they'll be better than her. Another B-level villain isn't going to fill the void of great Disney villains. I definitely miss the Disney Villainess especially. Ursula, Cruella, Maleficent, Yzma, Tremaine, etc.--nothing beats those. At least they nearly attempted it with The Snow Queen early on, when Bette Midler was going to be the Snow Queen. Hopefully now Lasseter is gone we might actually get villains again, gradually.

I like Donna Murphy and "Mother Knows Best," but never thought Gothel was a satisfying antagonist. Facilier is weak when compared to Ursula, Frollo, etc., too, and yet he's still my favorite. Hans was the twist villain at its peak. I like King Candy, too.

Yeah, that's true. I also wish they hadn't borrowed so much from the Mad Hatter.
