And why is Olaf smiling here? Does he like falling off cliffs?

He is always smiling in dangerous scenarios.Being a snowman that easily falls apart and rebuilds itself means that he doesn't understand physical trauma on humans.

Just recording our end credits song with a singing powerstorm (can't yet name). Holy goodness. Holy goodness.
Why do I think it's Lady Gaga or Adele? It could be just Idina Menzel. If it's Aguilera or Katy Perry,I really hope she doesn't strain her voice. What if it's Miley Cyrus?

Please, no Gaga. Can't stand her.   Or Katy Perry.

I have a feeling that it's Adele, Avril L., or Demi Lovato. It would be a nice surprise if it was Idina.

Out of those listed, the only two I would consider to be a "powerstorm" are Idina Menzel and Adele; but, since we have zero information besides there being a powerful singer, I don't think we need to get so jumpy and worried so soon.

It's ok if you can't stand Gaga, but I wouldn't put Avril L in the same league as Adele and Demi in terms of vocal talent.Avril's voice is childike, but not a powerstorm.(If any Avril fans are reading this please don't give me the "Ur just jelly of Avril's angel voice"crap.Singing high notes in a childlike tombre is not powerful singing.)

But anyways, this could be a really good song.Sometimes a good singer can sing a crappy song that doesn't display the vocal assets. If Jennifer Lee is excited about it this way.It must be good.

Yeah, between Adele, Demi and Avril, Lavigne is definitely the weak link here.

But who knows which singer they'll go with. Maybe even Bruce Dickinson or Rob Halford?

Didn't this happen when Rihanna's Shut up & drive was in Wreck it Ralph? Also with Pink's Trouble in the 1st Tangled trailer?

rotfl  rotfl "soon" hahahahaha that means "In three months" for Disney.
Remember what Paul Briggs said in his blog:
We're working on something to be seen very soon! :)

3 months later...an awful teaser. Unless you count the leaked video as a "something".
Patrick you are "thedisnerd" ? I follow you on tumblr :') I've even reblogged you. I made a Frozen video and I used your edits (I gave you credit, though http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QoA5XuSvSYU ) I hope you don't mind

Adele would be too damn good to be true. They'll probably go with some Demi Lovato type whom nobody outside the US has ever heard of.

I don't think Demi will be singer the end theme, she's already on the mortal instruments soundtrack, so i can't see her doing two songs.

BTW - Demi Lovato is actually well known in over sees markets, just look at her followers, albums sales etc :P

The whole end credits song thing is so distracting.
I'll come up with three ways to get back on everything else.

1.Does anyone notice that Hans character description displays no weaknesses? The description literally sounds like Anna going on and on about how Hans is so "perfect" while Kristoff is rolling his eyes. I hope he doesn't turn out to be the male version of Cosette.

2.In the recent Buck and Lee interview, the interviewer asked if the songs were going to have subversive humour. The directors responded that there are a few things that only adults will understand. I can't picture this to be on the level of Avenue Q nor Shrek. Maybe the humour is not dirty or vulgar.Maybe it's just mature.Like Les Miserables or something.

3.If this movie doesn't make the necessary box office,I can imagine the crew to be so pissed because they put so much effort (even by working overtime.)What can be worse?Frozen loosing the Oscar to The Croods. <--Ok, that's too far fetched.
I just have that feeling that Frozen is just not that kind of movie (like the Croods) that can attract young children audiences just by real film footage. But at the same time,I am only comparing Frozen to other animated films of 2013. Seriously, Frozen, compared to other animated films of the year, looks more mature.I think that's why Japan markets it differently.I think this film can do well if the target audience was young adults (10-18)rather than young children.

I think Frozen will do very well in the box office. With Tangled and Wreck It Ralph's number, people are getting behind Disney's CGI movies. Plus 2013 has been a really big money making year for animated movies. The Croods has made past $580 million worldwide while Monsters University and Despicable Me 2 should pass $500 by the end of the week. I truly believe Frozen will get past $500 million as well.

As far as the Oscar goes, while I think The Croods will get nominated representing Dreamworks (depending on how Turbo is), right now I think the Oscar is basically between Despicable Me 2 and Monsters University. Since MU is a Pixar film, you have to put that as the favorite imo.

Well, wikipedia doesn't even list her overseas sales, so I doubt she sold more than 100,000 albums. And her singles don't chart in non-English speaking countries. I may know she was on Disney Channel, but I don't know anyone who's heard of her.

Of the more recent group of former Disney Channel stars only Miley Cyrus is a well known name outside the US.

Well I believe her singles: 'Give your heart a break' and 'heartattack' are know here in the Netherlands too, but I doubt they would go with her, since she's no longer a Disney star. But I don't believe they have asked Adele either(since her Bond song is still so fresh in the minds of many and her having a baby).....Though they might have asked a big star(I mean look at Mariah Carey for Oz and Celine Dion for the upcoming muppet movie)

Demi Lovato is huge... in South America. :P Really though, her most recent album went platinum in less than a week in Brazil.

I checked her last couple of singles in the Netherlands, and only "Heart Attack" seemed to have charted, and just outside the top 30. I'm sure she has fans there, but doesn't necessarily have the marketing push to make her that big of a name, which seems to be a problem for her in Europe. Although this most recent album and single have been doing better for her than before.

It's a shame, since I think she's a great singer, but since Demi started out on Disney, she gets lumped in with the less-talented people from there, like Selena or Miley. I don't know if she's going to make it on the soundtrack or not, but she definitely has the vocal chops to qualify for a powerstorm.

I agree! I think she looks gorgeous there.

Does Elsa's pose on that cover, with her arm movements, remind anyone else of the Chernabog pose on the Fantasia reissue poster (where it itself is echoed by Mickey's pose)?
