I hope they release steel book version of these movies !
I just ordered the 2 middle Tinker Bell movies from DMC (they shipped today) & I hope I get the new artwork (& slipcovers too).
Getting the new TB in the 4 disc 3D combo pack (ebayed the 3D disc & digital copy). There is NO way I'd own the 2 disc combo pack since there is no blu ray packaging for it.
Just got my Great Fairy Rescue (No slipcover) + Lost Treasure (w/slipcover) Both with the old artwork.

They didn't even translated the song. What is the point in changing the singer at all?

asdfghjkl. Quest for the Queen looks like a great story! I'm glad it looks like there will be more focus on the other fairies, as the lack of this was something i didn't understand as it's a great way to boast merch sales and essentially grow the franchise.
The NeverBeast film mentioned, i'm really surprised that Fawn will have her own movie before Silvermist & Vidia they seem to be more popular among fans that Fawn!
But the Quest for the Queen trailer is my favorite out of all the previous movie trailers !

They've done this for a lot of other movies. For example, 'Something that I want', from 'Rapunzel', was also rerecorded for the Dutch dub by Dutch singers. They also didn't translate the song.
I guess it's because the local singers are more well known than the American singers?

pointless complaining .. I'd love for Disney Greece to care so much as to go out of their way and re-record a song with Greek singers.

I am so glad the quality of these movies appear to be staying, and like Peggy Holmes said, its brilliant to see each directors take on each story.
I havent even seen Secret yet, but Quest looks awesome!
Exciiiiiited !

'Secret of the Wings' Works Magic on Sales Charts
http://www.homemediamagazine.com/resear ... arts-28724
Walt Disney Studios’ Secret of the Wings debuted at No. 1 on both national sales charts the week ended Oct. 28, while the latest Tyler Perry release from Lionsgate was the week’s top rental.
Secret of the Wings beat out Warner’s Magic Mike for the No. 1 position on both the Nielsen VideoScan First Alert sales chart, which tracks overall disc sales, as well as Nielsen’s dedicated Blu-ray Disc sales chart.
'Campaign' Wins a Close Election, Edging 'Secret'
http://www.homemediamagazine.com/resear ... cret-28810
Coming in a close No. 2 on First Alert was Disney’s Secret of the Wings in its second week of release, following a top finish the week before. The direct-to-video Tinker Bell adventure sold 96% as many discs as Campaign.
The edge for Campaign may have been its Blu-ray tally, with 41% of its sales in the HD format. Secret, with a 32% Blu-ray share, landed at No. 3 on the Blu-ray chart, slightly behind DreamWorks’ Madagascar 3.
'Amazing Spider-Man' Slings to Top of Charts
http://www.homemediamagazine.com/resear ... arts-28866
The Warner comedy The Campaign, the latest Will Ferrell movie to hit video, slipped to No. 4 on both charts after debuting at No. 1 the previous week. On First Alert, the No. 3 spot went to Walt Disney’s Secret of the Wings, while DreamWorks’ Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted was ranked No. 5. Both titles, in their third and fourth weeks in stores, are holding up well, as the gift-buying season begins to heat up.
'Brave' tops DVD and Blu-ray sales charts
http://www.realitytvworld.com/news/brav ... 031917.php
Rounding out the top tier are "Disney Fairies: Secret of the Wings" at No. 6, "Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted" at No. 7, "Marvel's The Avengers" at No. 8, "The Campaign" at No. 9 and "Magic Mike" at No. 10.
'Brave' tops DVD sales chart

Coming in at No. 2 on the latest DVD and Blu-ray sales chart was "The Expendables 2," followed by "Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups" at No. 3, "Disney Fairies: Secret of the Wings" at No. 4 and "The Avengers" at No. 5.

I'm not sure this has been posted before, but on the quad posters at UK cinemas, the movie is still called 'Tinker Bell and the.....' Rather than just the title. Wonder why they kept it here? It's also out on December 14th in cinemas.
Brilliant news it did so well in the charts, hope Disney takes heed.

Yeah I guess that should be standard by now. My theory is that they are doing it cause marketing is not as heavy overseas as it is in the US and people need clearer indications of what the movie is about.

Yes, it retained its full name in most overseas territories including Australia/New Zealand.

I'd say it has more to do with U.S marketing. I find it similar to how the name Rapunzel was retained in the title of most foreign releases.
In this case, it seems that U.S marketing is trying to broaden the appeal and scope of the franchise and strengthen the Disney Fairies brand as a whole by not focusing solely on Tinker Bell anymore. The fact that the TV special focused on Rosetta and the sixth movie will center around Fawn seems to support this theory.

Well that makes sense.
There is also a 'Disney Fairies' stamp in the corner.

I'm pretty hit or miss with the Tinkerbell series. I honestly wish there was a little less fluff... that being said, I own them all for the sake of completion.

How many movies are in the works now? I thought we were only looking at Quest for the Queen and The Legend of the Never Beast? Other fairies are getting their own films? It's kind of exciting that the line is becoming increasingly popular. It gives me hope that stronger directors will begin to work on these films which will eventually lead to a theatrical release. Could you guys imagine the first theatrical release being the film that ties this Tinkerbell line to Peter Pan?

Right. There's also the banner that says "an all new Tinker Bell/Disney Fairies movie" on posters and other promo materials.

We don't know exactly. A
seventh film also appears to be in the works. I don't think they've set on a finite number of films. They'll just keep making them as long as they're profitable.

I know I'm a fan, but in all honesty, these are genuinely good films. It is sad that their future was in doubt a while ago, but now it seems pretty secure due to the new success of the series.
I wonder if they will rethink the removal of Pixie Hollow from the new Fantasyland ?
