^I like that the poster pays homage to the original one, too. Yes, the racoon seems to be everywhere. In some pictures it looks like it's part of the Incredibles team. Maybe the family adopts it as a pet.

He must have a sizable role compared to the other superheroes if he was the one picked as a figure.
I thought the same, but I've searched for sets of this same line of toys that have been made for other Disney movies and they sometimes include characters that are not the main ones. The Inside Out set, for example, included a figurine of the unicorn from Riley's dreams, so maybe they have just picked him because he looked cool or something. We'll see.

You're right, Disney has a habit of taking the most interesting look characters and pushing them in merchandise. The poster seems to indicate that he won't be any more important than the other superheroes.

I'm...not a fan of this poster. Probably one of my least favorite so far. Compostionally my eyes don't know where to look and feel uncomfortable. For the original everything flows in a nice circle more or less.

The trailer didn't reveal too many new details, at least for me that I’ve been reading/watching everything that has been posted here, but the movie looks very good. I can’t wait to see it! Unfortunately, I’ve learned today that it won’t open in my country until August 3, a month and a half after the US release. However, I’m sure it’s worse for other countries, so I guess I’m lucky it isn’t released even later.

By the way, the YouTuber who made the video about the identity of the film's masked villain has made another one about the new superheroes that appear in the latest poster: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2bcFvl ... e=youtu.be

I like that Violet's powers seem to have advanced. And of course, the return of Frozone's wife. Although, is it just me or does Bob seem dumber than usual? Not knowing what combustion means, for example.

I would advise others who don't want to bespoiled not to read this one, because it sounds like they hit the bull's-eye on the identity of the villain, imo.

The sequel begins right when the original ends, so I'm not sure how this will be portrayed (if it will just be TV "screens," or will they involve cell-phones, Twitter, Facebook, and so on into the scheme), but it sounds like an interesting idea for a villain at this particular moment in time what with social media being manipulated by those with dangerous intentions. It'll especially be apt if the villain uses selective footage taken from the camera attached to her suit to make Elastigirl look like a monster to the masses. I'm looking forward to Elastigirl facing off against a female villain.

Yes, I read that particular article and it's quite spoilery. However, I think it's Winston Deavor who is behind the mask because it looks like the villain has a male body, but her sister is probably the leader of the two.

I think I read somewhere it's not only TV screens, but also other screens, so probably cell-phones and tablets too.

No problem. :) There were a lot more articles out there, but I selected just a few, because they more or less covered the same aspects given that the source of info of all of them is the same: the press event Pixar held for the film and the press material they provided journalists with. Anyway, here are two more that might be interesting too, and some more updates:

What a world we live in where people are trying to explain why not to be upset that a female character gets the spotlight….! I considered Bob and Helen co-leads anyway. It only makes sense she gets to have more adventure this time around since Bob did more of that in the first film.

I'm fine with Honey (I didn't even know she had a name...) not appearing. Part of the humor was that she wasn't onscreen anyway, just like Nile's wife on Frasier or Karen's husband on Will & Grace.

A Japanese trailer with a lot of new footage has been released. I'm surprised it's so centered on the action and humor. As you know, usually Japanese trailers tend to focus more on the dramatic aspects.

The little scream of joy when Jack Jack gives after Bob falls back and the "Mama!" when he recognizes his mom in the old footage ARE SO CUTE.
