I just saw a commercial for the 4 disc Blu-ray/DVD combo pack tonight on CBS during Survivor. It's nice to see that they are at least promoting this title, even though it's more a "collector's" release than say, Beauty and the Beast.

I lost track, but... is there a coupon for this one?

Just asking as I just printed my coupon for Sorcerer's Apprentice.

I just saw a commercial for this on TV and at the end it specifically said available for a VERY limited time. They've never used very before when talking about availability. If true, I wonder why they're vaulting it so quickly? To try to drive up sales even more? I know Snow White and Beauty and the Beast were only available for a few months when their Platinums first came out, but still. Very odd to see a return to this marketing strategy, again, if it's true at all.
Maybe a real separate release with extras, the shorts and possibly Deems Taylor will come later? A lovely thought.

Semi-Random question, but does anyone know how many points on DMR the Blu-ray is gonna be worth? The 2-Disc DVD version is gonna be worth 200 points. :o

DVDs get you 100 and Blu-Rays get you 125. Since it looks like they're counting this as two movies - makes sense with the higher MSRP given to this 2-movie collection - I'd guess the Blu-Ray will get you 250 points.

I'm not sure how many points the Fantasia release will be worth but the 4-disc Christmas Carol was 200 points.

I have pointed out a couple of times that Amazon UK are preparing seperate releases;

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fantasia-2000-P ... d_h__img_b

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Fantasia-Plati ... 345&sr=8-8

Can't argue at £10.79, so I've pre-ordered them just in case there is anything different. Whats more, the original film on its own is the same price as the current Combo Pack, so thats interesting.

Does anyone know if the bonus features available in the Virtual Vault are only those taken from the Fantasia Anthology set or if they also include features from previous releases (Laserdisc and so on)?

I don't have the possibility to check it right now, but I'm pretty sure, there is only content from the Anthology Set.

Thanks...anyone can check?

Also can the $10 coupon be used on the Walmart online store?

They're only from the Anthology set. But, in theory, more could become available at any time (alternatively, any could be yanked at any time too!)

Has anyone seen the sale papers yet and what the prices are looking like for release day? I haven't been able to check yet, but I am wondering if any stores are offering a good deal (in addition to the $10 coupon).

I know it is just $2.00 you save, but you should also take a Target ad, and have them match price, and you will have it for $7.99! :D

I don't know if this was already posted or not, but Toys R Us has the set advertised for $26.99, so with the $10 coupon, it's only $16.99 (which is perfect for me, since I only have $20 left to spend on stuff I want).

Has anyone seen this in a Walmart sales paper? If so, how much is it selling for?
