Won't they all come with the movie cash?
I would hate it if we went on DMR with both Toy Stories and they only let us redeem ONE ticket for Toy Story 3.
I would hate it if that happened.

Best Buy is gonna have the two films for $24.99 each with $10 off if you buy both or 1 of the Toy Stories and another Pixar film. No exclusives... Target gets my money.

It's been 10 days since i got both BDs of TS 1 and 2
the movies look AMAZING in HD
just AMAZING
i've noticed so many new things, ive never seen before, and i've been watching both films a million times, and its stunning to me how only now i get to see details. amazing!!!
The extras, well nothing too great, though after hearing about "black Friday" it was nice of them to include the clip they showed Disney which almost killed the movie. If this was included in old DVD versions of this film - i missed it.

Awesome pics. I'm sooo so so excited to get these on Blu-ray. And I'm also glad they're released separately. I like to put my Disney movies and Pixar movies in order of release on my shelf, so Toy Story 2 is gonna be after A Bug's Life.

The black fridaything is definetly new.
can you tell me what kind of video it was? are we talking rough storyboard sequence, full animation? something in between? becasue I heard they had already started animating that version of the movie. if thats what it is, I cant wait to see it. I mean, I want to see it regardless, as Ive been curious since I first heard about it, but the more complete the better.

Is it really worth the upgrade to Blu-ray? I mean if you have a Blu-ray Player or PS3, it upscales your original DVD to HD 1080P. I am still ify with this upgrade.

no new previews in these releases, the Tangled teaser thats on PATF is not on these dvds or BDs.
There are 2 previews for TS3, not a real trailer, but the director of the films talks about the 3rd one and shows some clips - nothing eally good.
i must say they did an horrible job with the 3rd Toy Story trailer - if it was a regular movie without all the histpry i wouldn't want to see it based on the previews, but i trust Pixar it'll eb an amazing film, even though they gave it to a new director, he promises surprises in the film which he can't talk about. we'll wait....
other then that everything thats in the patf sneak peeks is on here too, if i remember correctly...lol
nothing new, same goes for teh very small booklet, at least we get free movie ticket for TS3

no animation here this is rough storyboard, uncut, and very interesting.
Shows Woody as a very dark caracter - i can see why Disney people told them to start from scratch - this would have killed the movie.

100% YES YES YES
A MUST UPGRADE
i have a PS3 and a $4,000 TV (55") i've watched both latest DVD releases of Toy Story 1 + 2 from a few years back, and i must tell you, when the BD started playing - i was blown away.
The dvd looks alright, the last one looks better then the ultimate toy box version, but no, the BD is worth the upgrade - trust me i paid FULL PRICE for both, i couldn't wait, i had to watch these movies on BD and i already watched them twice each and all the special features.
and the sound, DVD doesn't even come close.
a no brainer - UPGRADE!!!

I pre-ordered both at Toys R Us yesterday! I'm going to put the $15 voucher I get next week and an upgrade to blu coupon into another combo there. They tend to have good sales. I have my eyes on Monsters, Inc at the moment.

Does anyone know when the TS coupons will be active? Will it be after The Princess and the Frog ones expire?

The Princess and the Frog ones were listed last Friday, so probably sometime this Friday the Toy Story ones will be active.

Toys R Us Prices:
http://forum.blu-ray.com/movie-tv-deals ... ost3040503
Here it is everyone. I do not have the ad in hand, and in fact I am quoting all of this from another forum. I think everyone will see though that Target wins in the Toy Story battle.
Toy Story 1 and Toy Story 2 Blu-Ray/DVD Combo Packs
* $21.99 each or
* Buy 2 combo packs for $16.99 each.
This is for those who
pre-ordered:
For both movies: $33.98
- $5/$10 Coupon
- $10 Pre-Order
TOTAL: $13.98 or $18.98
So if you pre-ordered, this is the best price for you. Whether or not you can get both coupons to work, your total will still be less than Target.

Don't forget to subtract possible upgrade to blu coupons from that total. (Provided they can be used in conjunction with the others.)
