This is such a fabulous idea ! Can't believe I missed it the first time around. I would love to join now though !
Should we maybe write out a members list ?
If we are picking books to read, I would like to nominate Northanger Abbey, by Jane Austen.
I have never read it, and would love to !

Thank you Amy ! Have you read it ? It's the only Austen I havnt read yet. My personal favourite of hers is Persuasion.

Nope, I haven't read it yet, but for Christmas I bought myself a book with all of her novels in it!

I like the fact you got it for yourself as a Christmas gift !

I always end up doing that myself during the holidays ... always end up buying myself things as well as everyone else !
Wow, to have all of her novels in one book ... must be a pretty big book ! I'm obsessed by antique books; I collect them. My Northanger Abby is from 1898.

Wow- that's old!!! Is it in good condition still? Yeah, it's a pretty big book, the one with all her novels in it.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians
Set in the United States, the books are predominantly based on Greek mythology.
I'd highly recommend this series for anybody who's a fan of greek myth or lookin for the next "Harry Potter" franchise, the characters are appealin, not a dull moment in the series. Rick Riordan knows how to put a reader on the edge of their seat yet keep the fun light.
There's a total of 5 books all together and there will be a whole new sequel to the series tentivly titled, Camp Half Blood

I don't get it... how will we ever decide on which book to read, if were all nominating for different books ?

Maybe at this point just discussing books we're reading individually would make sense. Maybe we could make a guideline, like discussion topics, on books we're reading individually, and then maybe that'll inspire someone ele to read that book...?
