Wait,wasn't Ryan with Marta? (The overwight girl?) they were together in the end of High School Musical 2.

Also, in about 5 minutes, the new HSM3 song will premiere on Radio Disney, and I'm sure that they'll continue to play it a lot, because that's usually what they do when they premiere a song!!!

No, but they left some blatantly obvious clues. Plus, I think everyone expects him to be. With a musical that revolves around one-dimensional high school stereotypes, you gotta expect the flamboyant male stage fan to be gay.

I always viewed ryan as disney's way of having a gay character in the movies without saying it because you know what would happen if they did ALL HELL WOULD BREAK LOOSE!!!



ALSO, what were the clues in the stage version (I haven't seen it)

He has pictures of boys in his locker, he swoons when Troy accidentally bumps into him and he's even more fabulously dressed and behaves in an even more stereotypically gay way. If you search the forums you'll find the article about this. I wonder when they'll make the stage version of number 2 will they continue to keep him gay or magically make him straight.

But ya, as long as the MPPA (I think that's the right acronym) gives and R rating to a film like Touch of Pink just for having gay characters we wont see any gay Disney any time soon.
