It looks exactly like one of the trailers I saw in 2001, with the words "Special Edition" added.
Cinderella II: Special Edition

When I first found the trailer for Cinderella II back in 2001, attached to a DVD-ROM game I had, I watched it over and over. It is almost exactly the same, except it has a new voiceover mentioning the new game and completeing the"Cinderella collection", new different sparkles that accompany the words that appear, the logo is changed to have the blue background and scroll with "Special Editon" on it, and some now inclduing the scenes with Cinderella saying "I think we're going to be great friends", Jaq and Gus popping out of teh candle holders, Cinderella kissing the Prince in her blue-green outfit and dancing with him in her gold one at the Spring Festival. Heh, notice Cinderella's hair goes from blonder shade to the more correct browner shade.
I really wish Disney had just called dropped the III and titled it's best sequel Cinderella: A Twist In Time like in some other countries. I'm sorry Prudence, but II just sullies the Disney and Cinderella name with it's poorness. If they had reconfigured II into a better animated, better told, full story with Prudence still in it for the Special Edition, then I'd be much more happy. I think Disney is doing this just for money, just for completing the collection, just for the kids who wonder where II came in between the far better first and third movies.

It's the same trailer i saw in the Atlantis DVD and Cinderella Doll House Of Dreams PC game (Disney Duster-do you mean this game?) (it's a game in which you put character in the film togather and even put stuff in their hands and and they talk to each other).
Anyway this edition is just for promoting Enchanted Tales (notice she's wearing the Enchanted Tales dress) and franchise Cinderella more.

Although, I do agree that this will serve as advertisement for Enchanted Tales I don't think it's the only reason they are releasing this. I think it's because the first release of Cinderella II was really hard to find and I think disney wanted to re-release it to promote more of a trilogy. This would be ample time to make some profit off of it, being that people love the idea of trilogies and it'll be going back into the vault with the other two films shortly after it's release.

You’re very welcome Amy! I decided to put my YouTube account to use, lol

. I'll be uploading a bunch of new worthwhile trailers throughout the coming months. Since I buy almost every title Disney puts on DVD, just let me know what trailer you'd like to see, and I'll post it.

Agreed. The purpose of
Cinderella II: Dreams Come True Special Edition is not just to promote the future volume of
Enchanted Tales. Many children now have in their possession
Cinderella PE and
Cinderella III: A Twist in Time, but are missing the part II to their collection. Believe me allot, and I mean allot, of parents will be forking over the cash for this DVD. It also seems logical to release this so that Disney can make as much money as they can off of Cinderella before she enters the vault. However, there is no doubt in my mind that Cinderella
II: Dreams Come True Special Edition will contain a new trailer for the upcoming Enchanted Tales volume featuring Cinderella.

Yes, it is Cinderella's Dollhouse! I have that game!
Anyway, a lot of times you are right and correct but this time you are wrong about Cinderella wearing her gold Enchanted Tales dress on the Cinderella II Special Edition cover!
First of all, Cinderella II came out before Enchanted Tales, and so did it's re-release in other countries. On the first cover, she had a gold headband, on the re-release, a gold headband and tiara, but no gold dress. Look how the new cover copies all the others in how Cinderella's dressed:
Then, Cinderella's gold Enchanted Tales dress is really just her blue ballgown in gold, with some extra decorations and patterns on it and a gold crown:
Finally, Cinderella is only wearing her blue gown on this new cover, it's not her Enchanted Tales dress:

Well, I basically agree. At least now I won't have to describe particular scenes to people over and over (or let them borrow my copy, which barely plays anymore after so much use). I think I'll be buying the "Special Edition" simply because of the wear on my original disc.

Only you would notice different sparkles. And that's a compliment! I like you you're so aware of Disney Dust!
And, I'm so glad that CII will be on DVD. If CIII hadn't been so successful, I'm not sure if they would've rereleased CII. I really do like the story of the baker and Anastacia, and for that scene, I say that it's a decent movie. It is a cute scene...!

thanks for posting the trailer. some old, some new. the biggest change appears to be the titles and sparkle effects.
Also looks like they used a now standard signature pose for both blue and gold dresses.
My guess is Disney is wrapping up the Cinderella DVD cycle with this re-release, and (perhaps) an all-inclusive mega-Cindy package containing all 3 titles will occur before all of these go back to the vault in 2008.
Cinderella's Dollhouse has been around a while, and used to run on the Mac platform (it's windows only these days) Its animation was traditionally done in Canada. Its voices include Jennifer Hale as Cinderella and Susan Blakeslee as Lady Tremaine (the same ones doing their characters for CII and CIII. ).

Thanks for poitning this out,Disney Duste,i didn't noticed that (the tiara (what's the difference between a tiara and a crown?

) made me confused).
Do you like the game?

i like it,i think should have more characters (like The King,The Duke and Prudence).
There's also a 2nd game but it's like Princess Royal Horse Show and not DollHouse Of Dreams,in the 2nd you help Cinderella make parties.

I ordered the 2002 release of Cindy 2 off of Wherehouse.com on Tuesday, and it just came in the mail today. It was used for $14.99, and there was a 25% off used DVDs promotion, and with that, the DVD came to $11.24. I got it because I'm deciding on whether or not to buy the SE in December.

Prue and Lady Tremaine in a scene together would be entertaining, period.

I see no reason to upgrade for just a new game. I only try out the games once and that's it lol. I do however, want the slip cover.
