In front of Grown-Ups 2 (You're probably shocked):
The Smurfs 2 (Avoid at all costs)
Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2 (Must-See)
The Best Man Holiday (No Interest)
Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (No Interest; Why pit this one against Planes?)
We're the Millers (Decent enough comedy, might check out)
RED 2 (Rental or Second-Run)

In front of R.I.P.D.:
Captain Phillips (new Tom Hanks film, looks pretty good)
Ender's Game - (not to be missed.)
Escape Plan - Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger (looks like a no-brainer, just entertainment film, which I will see for sure.)

In front of Turbo:
Rio 2 - Looks pretty good.
Walk With The Dinosaurs 3-D - Will not miss this at our World Class IMAX Theater
The Smurfs 2 - Won't waste my time or money, even the grandkids yawned through it.
How To Train Your Dragon 2 - Top of the list for 2014.

In front of Turbo (All trailers in 3D):
Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2 (Must-See)
The Boxtrolls (Stop Motion is still viable, people)
Planes (I'm officially sucked in, will see it)
How to Train Your Dragon 2 (Breathtaking, Must-See)
Rio 2 (It's because of the World Cup. There's no other reason why there'd be a sequel. Will check it out, regardless)
Walking With Dinosaurs (Just seems way too corny for my taste. Families will eat it up, though.)
And in front of The Heat (which I saw over 3 weeks ago, but had forgotten to post the batch for that one.)
The Wolverine
Runner Runner
Grown-Ups 2
Pacific Rim
Red 2
The Conjuring

Trailers in front of Despicable Me 2 (in 3D, obviously):
Free Birds
The Lego Movie
Planes
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 (not the same trailer that I saw in front of Turbo)

In front of The Way, Way Back:
Captain Phillips (Tom Hanks-led film version of Somalian Pirate incident, worth a look)
Closed Circuit (Never even heard of this movie, no interest)
The Wolf of Wall Street (Newest Leo/Martin collab, looks promising)
That's all I can remember, honestly. There may have been a couple more trailers, at least.

Trailers in front of The Smurfs 2 in 3D (Surprised? Don't be):
One Direction: This is Us
The Lego Movie
Frozen
Free Birds
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2
Before I forget, all trailers shown were in 3D except for One Direction: This is Us, which was in 2D.

In front of Planes:
Muppets Most Wanted (Ty Burrell in a tiny car, Tina Fey as a KGB agent, Tom Hiddleston playing some kind of magician; they didn't show any of him in this teaser, what's not to like? Take my money now, I say!)
Walking With Dinosaurs (Again, quite corny, Strictly for families)
The Boxtrolls (9/26/2014 is quite a long time away, don't you think)
The Lego Movie (Will see this one, but the novelty is already starting to wear thin)
Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2 (First step in what's already looking like a great movie-going autumn)
Frozen (Could we get a new trailer now, please?)
(All trailers in 3D, except for Muppets)
And in front of We're the Millers:
Gravity (Clooney and Bullock in space, plain and simple. Maybe if we get another trailer, I might consider this one)
Prisoners (Hugh Jackman-led Thanksgiving thriller, no interest)
Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa (The next Borat/Bruno, looks promising?)
You're Next (No interest, Nice use of Lou Reed's "Perfect Day" regardless)
August: Osage County (Oscar bait for Meryl. Might see this if it does get nominated)
Delivery Man (Vince Vaughn-led Americanized remake of Starbuck. Should pair well with Frozen for Thanksgiving. I promise to watch the original, first.)
And if you're near a Cinemark, you must check out at least one of the next six films in their classic series:
Pulp Fiction, The French Connection, Some Like it Hot, To Kill a Mockingbird, Fight Club (Why is this here?), Vertigo.

In front of "Epic":
How To Train Your Dragon 2
Turbo
Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2
There is a second-run theater in my neighborhood, which shows movies that had been released some time ago but which no longer play in regular theaters. The second-run theater is actually cheaper than most regular theaters (it only costs four dollars rather than eight or ten at a regular theater), and that's where I see a lot of movies sometimes, including "Epic".

In front of "Planes", which I found to be very good, and am glad that they decided to put it in the theater instead of straight to DVD & Blu-ray:
The Lego Movie (won't miss this one!!)
Muppets Most Wanted (at the top of must-see list)
Frozen (will be among the first to see this)
I don't understand how a person can sit through more than three trailers before a movie. Something that we are spoiled on here in Wichita, Kansas. Warren Theaters never show more than three trailers before the featured title, and never show trailers with a rating higher than the film that is being shown in that theater. When I lived in California, I was always shocked to see "R" rated trailers in front of "G" or "PG" rated films, but that was in California so I just consider the location in the USA.

I personally don't mind multiple trailers, since they've always been one of my favorite parts of the theater experience, even if the trailers played don't personally interest me. But lately, the shows I've been going to around here only play two or three, which is also fine.

That's never happened where I live, though the trailers do go one rating up depending on genre and similarities/connections to the film being exhibited. I can maybe sit through about five or six trailers. They are a favorite part of the experience.
In front of The Croods: Turbo. The second-run theatre I saw it at actually cuts out all but one trailer for their movies.

In front of Jobs (Decent enough, but I really couldn't enjoy it since I hadn't slept that well the night before)
Prisoners (No Interest)
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (Must-See; Don't believe me, watch the trailer)
Rush (No Interest)
The Family (Didn't even know of this movie. No Interest)
Monuments Men (The next Argo, perhaps? Will See, but only if it gets any Oscar noms)
Machete Kills (Robert Rodriguez at his most ridiculous. No Interest)
Also caught The Internship at our local second-run house just a few blocks away from the main chain theatre. Two trailers preceded said film: The Heat (would see again) and World War Z (Must-See).

In front of Kick-Ass 2:
Runner, Runner (No Interest)
One Direction: This is Us (The demand for this is there, but unless it was a concert film in 2D with Paul McCartney, I say No Interest)
Getaway (Looks interesting, but not worth my money right away; Second-Run)
Ride Along (Got me laughing. Might check out. Let's just hope it doesn't turn out to be as big a turkey as Identity Thief)
Riddick (No Interest)
And in front of The World's End (2013's Best Comedy):
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (Ben Stiller in what already looks like the movie of the year; Must-See)
Captain Phillips (Tom Hanks' next Oscar is in the bag; Must-See)
300: Rise of an Empire (No Interest; it's just not my kind of movie)
The Fifth Estate (Sherlock assumes the role of Julian Assange; Must-See)
About Time (Richard Curtis' Groundhog Day-esque time travel rom-com; Might Check Out)
Don Jon (Joseph Gordon-Levitt's script/directorial debut; No Interest, yet)
