Here's what they said after I redeemed my points for disneyshopping.com

"Please visit DisneyShopping.com and follow these instructions:
1. Place all your desired items in your Shopping Cart
2. Follow the "Checkout" process
3. Enter your digital code (above) in the Disney Gift Card Information field on the Payment page, along with a credit card number (you may only use one Gift Card per order)
4. Enter any other required information and click "Complete Purchase"
5. Use Your Online Gift Card through December 30, 2007."

it says along with a credit card number...what does that mean? Honestly, aren't points earned supposed to be to GET things not to BUY?

DisneyMovieRewards.com and DisneyShopping.com aren't exactly related. What happens with DisneyShopping.com is that, on the checkout page, they list the total as the total cost of the item + shipping, not taking into consideration any gift cards. Once they ship the item, they'll take that into consideration and charge you only the balance (for example, if your order's total is $20, and you have a $10 gift card, they'll charge you the balance of $10). Even if your order is $10 or less, you'll still need to enter a credit card. It's just how they work.

I've redeemed my points 2x - 1 was for Rocketman DVD and the other for Ducktales DVD. Plus, my brother has an account and he snagged me a Rocketman DVD which I in turn sold on Ebay for some cash to buy 2 more DMC movies! :)

I'm really psyched for tomorrow (Sunday), when I put in my order for DuckTales the Movie! It's my birthday tomorrow, and I'll be getting the Narnia 4-disc set from my parents, which is supposed to have 150 points in it, putting me over the edge for being able to order DuckTales the Movie! I can't wait! That ticket better be in that box! We bought it at Best Buy today, but there were no stickers about Disney Movie Rewards on it or anything like that! Oh, and they better not be out of DuckTales the Movie!

well first, HAPPY BIRTHDAY slave2moonlight!

I'm hoping to get both the stitch figurine, and the winnie the pooh one with classic pooh and modern pooh reading a book. I have 1550 points right now, so as soon as either another movie comes out, or they give me my points for MTR I'll be able to get one :D

With the amount of Disney movies I see/buy I don't think I'll have a problem saving for the other before December (assuming they still have both available then).

Happy Birthday!!!!! :D

You know what I find funny, is that I used my points for Ducktales and than realize that they sell it at the DMC! That stinks! I could have put those points to something else and just paid the $20 for the movie at DMC! Oh well.. you live and learn!

Actually I spent most of my points as I would've never gotten the figurine. A lot of the dvds with rewards points are currently preschool titles and dcoms which I do not care about.

Thanks for the Birthday wishes! I don't belong to the Disney Movie Club, though I really should, I guess. Since my income is irregular at the moment, I don't like to join purchasing clubs. So, the Disney Movie Rewards Program is a great way for me to get the Movie Club exclusives, though I would love to get some Classics Collection figurines too!

I totally don't get why they have the program as a limited time thing...

Sneaky Goings-On! So, I was putting in my code for the 4-disc Narnia, which is worth a LOT of points, and after I entered them, I got a screen that said verify title, and it was set to "Cheetah Girls." Most people would have impulsively just hit the enter button. Luckily, I caught myself and changed it to the 4-disc Narnia and got the full amount of points. Apparently, the two DVDs share the same code? Seems like they were trying to get folks to accidentally approve the Cheetah Girls verification and get fewer points than they would for the Narnia set! Sneaky sneaky...

I wonder if that trick could backfire, ha. I wonder if a person could type the same code in again and claim the Cheetah Girl points too, ha. I know I probably won't be buying the Cheetah Girls anytime soon. Of course, I wouldn't try it (until after I got my DuckTales the Movie DVD).

I don't have enough points to get anything since most of the dvds I buy are missing the codes despite being on the list of movies that have them :x

If you email them a scan of your receipt they'll email you a code. I did that for a bunch because I'm in Canada and they just started the program, so all the older movies didn't have codes.

I have a whopping 400 points. After sending in my MTR ticket stub, I should have 450. I just want a litho or a poster. Nothin' special.

I would scan the recipts in......if I had kept them, I always end up forgetting them in my bad and it gets thrown out after a while or lost. Oh well, I'll just have to hope the next couple of movies I buy have the points code in them, I'm not really aftering anything in particular just a Litho or something like that would be cool, I don't have the patience to save up the points.

In that case they'll accept it if you take a picture of the proofs of purchase. You DON"T have to cut up your movies, just scan or take a digital picture. I like to do it with the dvd case open so they know I won't try and return it after :) I guess if you just don't care that's one thing, but it's not a difficult process and the customer service people were all nice and responded quickly.
