To commemorate The Jungle Book's 40th Anniversary (the Disney film, and one of my all-time favorites), I'm reading the original collection of short stories written by Kipling himself, known as "The Jungle Books." So far, so good though VERY different from the Disney film. But we'll see what I'll think when I'm finnished with it. :P

I've just finished Buffy The Vampire Slayer: The Lost Slayer. However I'm not sure what to read next, I was thinking Lady of Avalon, Skystone, Silverwing, Watership Down, Tailchasers Song or Wicked again. Not sure, I hate having to pick since they all look good.

Just wrapped up Half Blood Prince (Harry Potter 6) last night, it's gon'na be a rockin', adverturous film on Nov. 13 2008, the climax was written edgy and alil too explicted but it's worth reading. This weekend I'm gon'na be buried in Deathly Hallows (Harry Potter 7) which shoud/will be a suitable ending for the franchise, now maybe JK Rowling might come up with another franchise....*thinks*

My vote would go towards "Watership Down"- I read it a few years ago and really enjoyed it!

I'm actually in the process of reading some journalist/writer's multi-part article on the movies of director Uwe Boll after being (at his insistance) the only critic to answer the director's infamous Boxing Match challenge and losing, miserably.

I don't know when Part II will be posted on the message board where I'm reading it, but I'm still reading part I. Some very amusing anecdotes there.

Aaww, I loved the Tale of Desperaux! It was such a cute book.

I am currently reading the "Fitzwilliam Darcy-Gentleman" Trilogy by Pamela Aiden which is Pride and Prejudice from Mr. Darcy's ponit of view. I'm almost finished with the first volume and it's really good and kind of a nice addition to Austen's fantastic original novel.

I am now on the third volume of the "Fitzwilliam Darcy, Gentlemen-Trilogy" and reading lots of books about Empress Elisabeth of Austria for my school paper which is due in January and makes 1/3 of our total grade for this semester.
