This is pretty neat, even though we barely can see any pages:

^Nice find! The drawings are great and it's interesting to know layout artists at Disney are given these thick books as a guide for their job.

Christmas postcard by Ian Gooding. We now have three versions of this image: daytime, nighttime, and wintertime.

Nope. But I liked that atwork and she looked good in White.

So, so pretty! That look was a close second to the Bayou Wedding Dress for me. I hope maybe she'll appear in that outfit in one or more of the
Tiana episodes and they'll make more merchandise / clipart of it.
While Anna has a green outfit that is pretty, too, like the Bayou Dress (jmo), I think Tiana's the only princess with a non-wedding white outfit, right? Well, I guess there's Elsa's peacock outfit in
Frozen 2. Regardless, Tiana would stand out more in the white, although it does make her look older and more mature than the princesses usually do--which suits her character, but we know the DP line doesn't care about their
personalities.

And, besides, I think Elsa will always predominately be marketed in her ice queen dress from the first film, so putting Tiana in her white one wouldn't really compete with any of the others.

Very pretty. I guess he invented how the magical bayou at the end looks.

There was a never-before-seen publicity still featuring one of Tiana's early designs in the book "The Art of the Disney Princess". I've juxtaposed it with the actual still that was released for the film.

Interesting. The only things different are the two characters themselves. But I much prefer the designs in the movie.

There are some differences between the backgrounds too such as the details on the dresser and the lampshade.

Wow, this picture is... Pretty ugly. I'm so glad that's not how she looks in the finished film. That other old image looks a little different from this to me, but maybe this is just really low-quality in comparison to that one. I'll admit the tiara looks worse from the front like this where I liked it from the side. To me, the problem is that it doesn't look like it was well-drawn at all. And is it just me or does the facial expression look a bit like Pocahontas?

Her design here is, in fact, a little different from the first publicity still we ever got for the film. I think they did various passes on the same basic design. That must be why the dress is different too. I agree that she's drawn better in the image where she looks at the sky than in the one holding the frog.

A little bit, yeah. I think it's the shape of the lips which creates that illusion.
