Well, looks like SAG-AFTRA and the studios are once again still struggling to reach a fair deal and the stars won’t be able to promote Wish.
Looks like it’s up to me now to take matters into my own hands to get more marketing and awareness for the movie raised.
How?
Simple.
Dress up as Star in Times Square in New York City in Times Square and try to have a photo or photos taken with NYC pedestrians.
That’s what gets awareness raised.
Costume characters.

Um, all I can say is stay safe and do your research:

I read the article and I'm not going there to make money, just to spread awareness of the movie.

First official clip of Wish with our first listen of “I’m A Star”:

Possible Trigger Warning: be wary of brief butt/fart joke, even though Disney did sort of subtle butt jokes before back in 1977 when Rabbit decorated Pooh’s butt in The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.

The video on that website is lagging so here's a direct link to "I'm a Star" preview:

Lovely visuals (which makes me wonder if nighttime scenes will make the animation feel less jarring), but I don't what to make of the song.

My gut reaction to "I'm a Star" was shock and dismay lol, but after a few listens I can appreciate its hook. They should probably stop comparing these songs and sequences to "Under the Sea" and "Be Our Guest" (as they did in that USA Today article) because they're obviously going for something more pop and mainstream-sounding. I have to remember today's audiences made "Peaches" from Super Mario Bros. a hit, and at least these songs are better than that. The songs so far are cute enough but lack that classic Disney magic they keep insisting was their creative inspiration.
I do love the visuals though - the nighttime scenes really pop with color.

Anyone know when the premiere is or when the review embargo might lift? I wonder if reviews will be available before the early screening.

Hopefully SAG will get their deal tonight so Ariana DeBose can still fulfill her promise of her bringing her super-fan friend Jazz Smith to the Hollywood premiere after all that Jazz has lost in the last 2 years (her mom and her home).
If you don’t know what I mean, this video from April on Good Morning America will tell you everything:

The clip is also on
Youtube now, and here's a behind-the-scenes
featurette. The
full song is already available in Europe.
A
clip from "This Is the Thanks I Get?" has also been released.

Disney China has
announced Liu Yifei, who played Mulan in the live-action remake, will voice Asha in the Chinese dub and has released a
new clip from the movie in Chinese.

I’m starting to get this horrible feeling that Valentino’s butt is gonna be the source of several jokes in the movie, but I also think that “balls of gas” line in the song is possibly a reference to the “I thought stars were balls of gas burning billions of miles away” line in The Lion King.

Oh, well, that is a good point regarding The Lion King.

"I'm a Star" is a much better "Fixer Upper", that's for sure. The lyrics having a more "scientific and philosophical" bent is a smart idea for talking animals to sing about.
