Here are the covers:

I'm confused. Are they being released at the same time?
I'm gonna get them for digital code and for completion sake, but tbh I have the Platinum Edition of Sleeping Beauty and it is probably the best Blu-ray release Disney has ever done. A must for every fan of the film.
So if they are released at the same time I guess we can expect The Jungle Book and Fantasia to be released together in June 2020.

Personally, I already have digital copies of Sleeping Beauty and 101 Dalmatians, so I don't see any reason to get these new versions, unless they're also in 4K, and/or the new bonus features are worth anything.

Oh my gosh... what is that cover? Seriously, Sleeping Beauty deserves so much better than this. It looks unfinished. I hope it’s just a placeholder. Same goes for the font. Wow..

I agree. It has to be one of the strangest covers I've ever seen.

Both of these are being released in 2020?
What's weird is that Sleeping Beauty is getting the "Anniversary Edition" while it is released a year after, but 101 Dalmatians, which is released a year before (like Cinderella did) does not.

My God, that Sleeping Beauty cover is atrocious, but I do like the one for 101 Dalmatians. When are these two going to be released?

Dalmatians still has a decent cover but Sleeping Beauty looks abominable, both the cover art and the logo. I thought it couldn't get worse than the Diamond Edition but just the presentation of the Signature Edition makes this a total skip.

All these horrendous covers makes me worry about how they'll handle the 4K of Beauty and the Beast. I just wish they reuse the VHS cover or something that looks like that, for the steelbook another Paige O'Hara's art and something elegant for the digipack, perhaps the original poster or concept art. I worry it's going to be Belle and the Beast crossing hands and winking at the camera.

Honestly if we can get a proper restoration, I couldn't care less what the cover for BATB looks like. And if they use the same old restoration, I'm not going to bother with the film anyway so the cover definitely won't matter to me. It would be a great opportunity to use Paige O'Hara's artwork though.

Damn I didn’t know these were on the agenda yet. Were getting Mermaid, Cinderella, Aladdin, Dalmatians, and Sleeping Beauty all in the same year? All before Disney+ begins and these movies are available on the streaming service?
I wonder what the future of physical media holds at Disney.

They'll release whatever is OOP to get it back into circulation, 4K for at least BatB and the revival films and probably that's it. Focusing on new films and sometimes rereleases with the same discs as before.

The Diamond Edition cover (both the peasant and the ballgown versions) was beautiful. So was the Platinum Edition. In fact, with the exception of the 1997 VHS cover (the full screen edition), every Sleeping Beauty cover art was exquisite. But this Signature blu-ray cover makes the 1997 VHS look like a masterpiece.

I am extatic about Aladdin & Sleeping Beauty. Upset with myself about buying the 101D DMC exclusive last year when I could have waited and gotten one with a digital code instead. Can they please just announce The Black Cauldron, Fantasia & F2000 & the remaining package films? I'm with UmbrellaFish, wondering what comes next with Disney's home video releases...

Like w/ the Tangled & TP&tF ones that were just posted? Aren't those last releases still in print? Do you think they'll re-release everything?!

I think those are rereleases because of a possible 4K editions, but I really can't tell anymore.

Someone over bluray.com posted this: "Both releases are set for September 24th, standard Blu-ray only. No 4K signs." in regards to Sleeping Beauty and 101 Dalmatians.

Wow, five Signatures in one year. They really are trying to rush to finish the line. Might explain all the horrible cover choices - not just with these, but the general rereleases and the Pixar ones. It's easily the worst art they've ever used. Sleeping Beauty is atrocious for such a beautiful film.

But Aladdin, that cover is gorgeous and brings me such nostalgia as the VHS was one of my favorite possessions as a kid lol. I was afraid of a giant Aladdin head only or something with the cover trend lately.

Yeah I agree. It does seem like they want to release everything as fast as they can. I wonder what it means for The Jungle Book and Fantasia.

I guess with this rush, I was stupid to hope that
Cinderella might get a proper restoration. :/ They're clearly just dumping these out as quickly as possible.

I hate myself for not getting that version when it was out.

Maybe I might be able to luck up and find one of the old versions of SB anyway like I did with the
Pinocchio Platinum after its Signature had just came out.

Disney themselves said that they aren't going to abandon physical media, so I HOPE that means 4K versions of the Walt-era animated movies in the coming years.
