Luke's going to be up all night finishing it. Feel bad for you Lukester but hope you enjoyed the DVD.BambiFan87 wrote:wheres the review...I wanted to read it before I bought it tomorrow morning!! but oh well
It's always been there, it's just easier to see on DVD thanks to freeze-framing and zooming. Trying to find it on VHS would be murder, believe me, I tried!disneyboy20022 wrote:Is this a new scene or something with Donald Mickey or Goofy that you guys are talking about? or could I see it on the old Limited issue DVD of the Little mermaid?
Well, Jodi Benson did pop up several times to discuss the movie, and there were clips of some of the other cast. Have you ever thought that people might have been either unavailable or unwilling to contribute in some cases.Joshtheleo wrote:I agree, where were the interviews with all the voice actors? I had high hopes that Disney would do another onstage show like they did with Aladdin. I liked the ride that almost was, and the character art was cool, but the interface was clunky...Lucylover1986 wrote:I just went through all the bonus features and I was really dissapointed by the making of featurette, it really wasn't that informative. The "ride that almost was" was really cool though. I wish that would've become a dark ride at Disney World or Land.
They could make a TLM Documentary that lasts 5 hours. Not only would I sit through every second of it, but Id come back for multiple viewings.darth_deetoo wrote:A documentary is never going to please everyone, and is always going to leave something out. It's a tricky balance between making something too long and losing the interest of the viewer or striking the right balance, and risking losing something important.
yeah, seriously, there's no such thing as a documentary that is too long when it comes to this. worst case scenario, they split it up in a few parts. they don't need to worry about the viewer loosing interest, seeing as its a dvd extra. its not part of the movie, and its not on tv. so they should be free to cram as much stuff that will fit on the disk as possible.xxhplinkxx wrote:They could make a TLM Documentary that lasts 5 hours. Yours in november? That's strange. Okay, in Holland we still get it two weeks later than America (on October 18th) but why do you get it a month later?Nick Bryant wrote:Why is it all of the platinum editions were released in October in the UK and finally the most antcipated one of them all and my favourite movie of all time, get's released in November?! It's not fair, I want mine now!
This is very nice.....Thank you.MadonnasManOne wrote:Here's something to tide us over, until we have our grubby hands on The Little Mermaid: Platinum Edition. IGN.com has posted a 3-page interview with Ron Clements and Jon Musker, about the process of putting the film together, and the new Platinum Edition DVD. Enjoy!

The UK PE of TLM is R2 and R4, so in Australia it's the same DVD but there it will be released tomorrow. You can buy it from http://www.cd-wow.net without shipping costs!Nick Bryant wrote:Why is it all of the platinum editions were released in October in the UK and finally the most antcipated one of them all and my favourite movie of all time, get's released in November?! Thanks, that's a very nice gesture but I don't like buying my DVDs off of the net. I'm really fussy when it comes down to picking my DVDs, I'd rather go to the Disney Store and check out which has the best case, I'd be really annoyed if I got sent one with a minor dent or a slight crack. Plus I wanted to get the boxset of both "TLM" and "TLM2". Thanks again though.Scamander wrote:The UK PE of TLM is R2 and R4, so in Australia it's the same DVD but there it will be released tomorrow. I double checked the date and it's out in the UK on November 6th.KubrickFan wrote:Yours in november? That's strange.
