The fact that the new doll collection from Hasbro features not only the Disney Princess logo but the Frozen one as well proves that neither Anna nor Elsa have become part of the Disney Princess brand yet.

With Frozen 2 coming out, there's no way that Elsa and Anna will be inducted into the DP Franchise anytime soon. Moana, who hasn't been nearly as successful a character, will likely join though I'm not even sure if Disney will bother with induction ceremonies like they used to.

So, I wasn't able to finish the movie in theaters, circumstances beyond my control. I kinda caught most of what I missed the first time around and...its a real dud honestly. The princess scenes were fun, but not enough to save it at all. This was direct to video quality, like cars 2. I wonder if they'll redeem themselves slightly with an ok third one.

Sorry to hear that you couldn't finish it. I don't know if you have Netflix, but this film should end up on there in a few months if nothing else. Lol though at being compared to Cars 2. I think that's the most scathing remark I've heard about this film on here and that's saying something. After the minimal box office gross for this film, even with the princess push, I doubt we'll see another installment. Especially when Disney will be priming themselves for Toy Story 5, Frozen 3, Incredibles 3, and Zootopia 2.

What does Ariel's singing do in the ending that helps save Ralph? It doesn't make Pocahontas' leaves blow, that's all Poca.

A bit late to mention, but please tell me I wasn’t the only one to notice the rose embroideries on Aurora’s gown

I noticed that too. It reminded me of how the Disney Store patterns her dresses for her dolls such as below.

Lol, that got me hysterical. Disney actually thought they had a chance of winning the Oscar with this film? Even ignoring Spider-Man, did they really think WIR2 would beat Incredibles 2? Talk about false advertising. Disney clearly knows this film needs every extra help it can get to sell, precious princesses or not.

I'm kinda surprised at the lack of Nostalgia Critic and co. ripping into the film. They certainly didn't wait enough to tear Emoji Movie to shreds.

Do all the movie studios print those cards, and once the awards are done, the store puts up the winner's?

Maybe it was meant as a joke, based on the particular image they chose for the advertisement.

I saw that very advertisment saying Ralph won at my store...but it was in a cart, not up where they were selling the movie...

Theory 1: Like DisneyEra said, this is another way for Disney trying to have people remember the movie or even spark interest in seeing it. I guess maybe they don't want to give up on the franchise yet.
Theory 2: Disney indeed prepared award marketing for this and Incredibles 2 and sent it by accident. What is shocking is that Disney really thought it had a chance of winning. Without Spider-Man, very tiny. But after Spider-Man, not even close.
The picture actually has gone viral on Twitter. Here is a funny one

Well the movie just came out, so they're waiting to show footage. CienmaSins should be out shortly. The NC takes some time, but I can def. see it now because Doug didn't like it. Honestly, the Emoji Movie stuff is literally for a minute. Some are cringey, some are funny. Why a lot of fans are crapping on the movie is mainly because
Vanellope leaving Sugar Rush for Slaughter Race and leaving the other racers (even though it's clear nothing has changed with their relationship), plus Ralph trying to sabotage a game

Maybe it was meant as a joke considering how a number of people got upset over the first movie losing to Brave.

The picture made me think it might be a joke, too, considering WIR2's a comedy mostly and they chose a stilted, would-be emotional shot (the kind of thing the Academy eats up).

Actually it was not a joke, there has been a photo online that shows on the back of the sign instructions to put it only if the film wins.
