estefan wrote:"Ralph Breaks the Internet" has now hit $473 million worldwide, finally surpassing the final worldwide gross of "Wreck-It Ralph" (which made $471 million).
It probably has some more money to make before it finishes its run. The movie currently sits at $196 million domestic and I can see Disney trying to push it past the $200 million mark, which it will either do by itself or by attaching it to double bills with "Captain Marvel."
They can thank China for this. The original Wreck-It Ralph didn't get a Chinese release. With $39 million, China is the sequel's biggest overseas market. I think Disney will only see about 25% of it's China gross as the rest of it goes to China. So if you take away China's gross, this feature basically did exactly on par with the original, not adjusted for inflation. The only silver lighting for this feature is to at least hit the $500 million worldwide mark

That's great news! I just hope it's not only those couple of seconds they showed in the clip. I want to see the pencil tests in full.

I especially love Yess's pencil test. How jacket gently flows and how quick Yess's movement is are stunning. I saw a different one at Disney Animation. It was Yess on her desk and I believe it was Taraji's audition as the audio

So, y’all telling me their only scene that was planned for the movie that they had to cut because of “timing reasons” was only a minute and 16 secs? They literally “couldn’t find the time” for a minute with them??

They never had any intention of using it. As much as we would all like a short or TV series with Calhoun and Felix raising the kids, it's clear that Disney just created this subplot (if you can even call it that) to come up with an excuse to get rid of them for the duration of the movie.

"Third time I had to fix your milk."
"[The food] doesn't have a brain therefore it's impossible for it to be stupid."
The heck, these lines are FUNNY. Why cut them out, Disney?

This is what I expected for the arcade scenes: Fun, great character interactions and wonderful humor. Not saying the arcade scenes are bad, but this deleted scene feels much more like the first one than the final.

Wow, that deleted Felix-Calhoun scene was freaking funny! Although if you don't have a brain at all I guess that's the stupidest you can be, right? Lol Maybe they deleted it because it included praying to God? I wish they kept stuff like that in since I think anyone of any religion should be able to stay stuff pertaining to that religion (even atheism!), but whatever.

I kinda doubt that's why. They are remaking hunchback afterall. Its not a big deal.

Hunchback has religion involved in the story. I guess I feel like they felt since it wasn't part of the main story of Ralph Breaks the Internet, they should cut it?

It may be redundant to say this, but the Princesses looked better in their hand drawn form.

No, thanks.
Q: Given the popularity of your part with the other Princesses in Ralph Breaks the Internet, do you think it’s time for a Disney Princesses crossover movie?
Jodi Benson: Yeah, you know what? For all of those girls, when we got together a couple times — we met two summers ago and then we got together again at the Ralph Breaks the Internet premiere — we talked about wouldn’t it be great to have like a “Princess Posse Power” movie. I mean that would be so much fun to figure out how to do that. I don’t know if Disney would ever do something like that, but I thought there are lots of things you could do with that. And the response from Ralph Breaks the Internet during those two scenes for the Princesses was pretty strong and you could tell that people were really enjoying it. That makes it very fun. So it’d be kind of fun to see if that happens in the future. I definitely would love to see that happen. I think that’d be fun.

Clearly the response wasn't strong enough to significantly raise the box office gross for this movie.

Hasbro is making their own Wrecked Princess doll collection and sweetness, it is so so much better than Disney Store. I might sell my DS dolls on eBay in exchange of thrm

Isn't Hasbro supposedly losing their rights to Disney products soon? This must be a last-ditch effort to remain relevant.
