As we talked on the Disney Princess thread, all the Princesses are going to be released this year as part of the new "Ultimate Princess Celebration" campaign.

Here's Tiana and Naveen (Glitter version) - Box Lunch Exclusive

Meh. Pass. I hate glitter variants. If the whole line is this, I guess it's sort of like the HotTopic Diamond Line. At least that'll keep me from blowing $$$.

oh crud I hate glitter variants too. I was really hoping for new Belle, Aurora, Pocahontas, and Jasmine pops since I don't like the ones that are currently available(and Jasmine's and Aurora's wouldn't even match their back to basics looks), and they're the ones I need to complete my princess POP collection. At least with Belle I have the option of this new green dress version, that is if I can even get it. BTW is that green thing in the back of her shoulders supposed to be her bow?

The Ultimate Princess Celebration Collection is not going to be all glitter variants, there's some new cool funkos coming up!

I've seen the first wave and they are amazing! (with no glitter)

- Cinderella in her maiden dress holding a book
- Snow White with her animal friends holding a pie
- Pocahontas with a little part of Mother Willow
- Rapunzel with very long hair
- Moana with the water

I don't buy any Pops but the glitter seems to suit Tiana's magical and sparkly dress from the film. It doesn't suit Naveen's frog form though...! I know he's under a magic spell, but still...!

I have Blue Dress Tiana, and I lost my Naveen a while ago...so mayyyybbbee I'll buy her.

I had thought to comment about Belle's bow looking the size of the one Ariel wears with her blue dress and why that's why I'll probably pass, but didn't want to be a downer. They may make another version of the green dress someday that looks better.

So, apparently THE SWORD IN THE STONE Pops will be coming soon with 2 variants for MADAM MIM.

There are some I don't care about (Hans), others that is enough with the main one (Lady Tremaine) and others that with just one of the many the movie has is enough for representation (Pinocchio).

Still, if I want to have all the Disney Villains I need them all.

Do you think Funko could make progress by doing these characters faster? If anything with the most popular ones (Lady Tremaine, Frollo) ?

From your list, I would say the most surprising omissions (aka ones I'd predict we'll see made at some point) are Lady Tremaine, Frollo, Mother Gothel, and Hans. I could see any of them being convention or Hot Topic exclusives.

Made some corrections in the names. I made the post on a phone.

Besides the ones you mentioned I´ll say that these could make it even though one wouldn´t think so.

-Madame Medusa and McLeach; I think Funko could easily do Pops on The Rescuers movies and, aside from Bernard, Bianca and Oliver or Wilbur, the main villains are a given.

-Alameda Slim; Another simple series: the cows and him.

-Firebird; I believe that, eventually, Funko will do Fantasia 2000. As such, Firebird is a must as the counterpart of Chernabog.

And, if and when Funko decides to do Tarzan I believe they could/would do Sabor. They´ve already done Shere Kahn, Scar and Prince John so doing another feline would be easy and because of his importance.

As brief as his appeareances were in the movie they were extremely important. Sabor killed Tarzan´s parents, her fight with him as an adult is one of the better scenes in the movie and his dead made possible the Tarzan calling.

Is there someone here with knowledge of Pop Price Guide?

The Green Dress Belle box has a new 30th Anniversary Beauty and the Beast logo (the same way the 30th anniversary Little Mermaid Pops did), this probably indicates a new wave of 30th Anniversary pops are indeed coming. Perhaps the back of the box may reveal some of them. Really the only thing I'm hoping for from the set is Ballroom Movie Moment, so fingers crossed!

Those are so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I'm confused about Tiana's dress, though...the Pop has white as the bottom of the dress instead of blue?) (I showed my hubby the picture, and he said "Good thing you're not buying anymore." )

I'm getting Ariel. That would've happened even if it didn't look great, but I actually love this. The shape of the tail reminds me of Precious Moments in a way, and I like that they have a size-appropriate Sebastian beside her. I tend to put pops of small sidekick characters separate from the others, because seeing a giant Flounder beside Ariel feels a little odd, lol.

Briar Rose looks great. I'm torn though, if I should get this or wait until that version of her is released as a regular pop without a stand you can't separate from the pop. The Tiana pop is confusing. What is she holding (and what's in front of and beside her)? I suppose it's stuff from Charlotte's room when she puts that princess costume on, I guess? I don't remember the items right off like with Jasmine's vanity or the rock with pink flowers Ariel sits on during UtS.
