I forgot the years they were released, are Pinocchio and Stitch celebrating anniversaries this year? the latter especially Im seeing alot of new merchandise being made this year. I know Alice was released in 1951...

what else could be getting anniversaries thus new Pops/merch this year? 101 Dalmatians(1961)? Beauty and the Beast?(1991)

Dumbo (1941), The Fox and the Hound (1981), Atlantis (2001).

I suppose Pinocchio was supposed to come out last year (1940-2020), but was delayed because of COVID-19. I'm glad we're still getting them anyway. It's just a shame they didn't get to make anything for Tangled's 10th anniversary or for The Aristocats' 50th (if they even would have). I'd really like to have Tod, Copper, and Big Mama from TF&TH someday, although I'm always skeptical of how animal characters will turn out with Funko. Likewise, I'd like to see them try again with the dalmatians, although I wouldn't hold my breath they'll turn out good. I'd like them to make Nanny anyway. Roger and Anita in their park outfits would be cute. Sgt. Tibbs and the Colonel are others. Kida (with a translucent blue variant) would be great. Helga and Mrs. Packard are the main characters from that film I'd like, but there are so many in that movie they could make. I'm not sure how much they could do with Dumbo... Aside from Timothy and Dumbo himself, most of those characters should be 6 inch pops. I could see a "Baby Mine" Movie Moment or something to do with "Pink Elephants."

As for B&tB, I'd really like the Wardrobe and Featherduster + human versions of all the castle characters. And I suppose they could make Maurice and Belle (green dress), and a Pop Ride of Belle (in her cloak) on Phillipe.

Pinocchio's 80th anniversary would have been last year; Stich has his 18th anniversary this year. This year is Dumbo's 80th, Make Mine Music's 75th (not like they'd make Pops...), Alice's 70th like you mentioned, 101 D's 60th like you mentioned, TF&tH's 40th, TGMD's 35th (but last year they got Pops), B&tB's 30th like you mentioned, THoND's 25th (last year they got Pops), Atlantis' 20th, Winnie the Pooh's 10th, Zootopia's & Moana's 5th.

we'll probably get new B&B and 101 Dalmatian pops. Dont know about the others. Id love some Fox and Hound pops but I agree that their animal pops dont always look good.

I was bookmarking the new pops on Amazon this morning and saw the old Mufasa pop that I passed on. I was thinking I'd like if they one day made a Pop (or a Pop Moment) of Mufasa with cub!Simba sitting on top of him like when they look up at the stars.

I'm surprised though. I thought if they were going to have new molds of the same characters, it would be the Wrecked Princesses. I wonder when those versions will ever come? I wonder what they mean by "Ultimate"? I'd like to have variant outfits (like Tiana's white dress, Jasmine's purple outfit, etc.), but "ultimate" makes it sound like the main outfits they're advertised in just with different poses...

The "Ultimate" princesses, I think, is that new line that was posted in one of the Princess threads here, the one with Cinderella looking like herself. Are they releasing a Wave 2/Wave 3 later on with the rest of the girls? (And can they PLEASE release a Naveen to go with Tiana? I am begging. ) It's funny (but sad for my wallet) that these 4 princesses are the ones I buy the most of (plus Snow White & Pocahontas, who hopefully will be in Wave 2?!), so... I was literally telling my husband that I'm only going to buy the Raya art book, Soul/Raya/Fantasia on Blu, and that is it for the rest of the year, and then we get this announcement.

As I said in the Disney Princess topic I saw the designs of Pocahontas, Snow White, Cinderella, Moana and Rapunzel. These new POP are like little movie momentos.

yes They are smaller versions of movie moments but the size of the POP figurine is the regular one.

Interesting... So I guess the only difference between these versions of the princesses will be that they're on those stands Movie Moments often have (the dark blue for Kiss the Girl, the orange for Aladdin v. Cobra Jafar, etc.). Maybe something like Ariel with the little dancing figurine or Snow White with some birds, bunnies, flowers, and/or deer? What would be interesting is if they put them in some of their iconic moments. Like, say, Sleeping Beauty asleep on the bed or Ariel on the rock during "Under the Sea" holding her flower.

I guess we'll have to wait to see them, but so far I'm thinking I'll pass on all of them other than Ariel and Tiana (and Aurora if she's in the blue dress with her proper hair this time). Btw, does anyone know what retailer ECCC items are sold through? I might try for that Belle pop. It's funny, I rarely see news posted on the Funko forum these days, even though I used to find everything out there. It seems like news only comes from reddit now. Unfortunately, even though I can read reddit forums, I can't get them to function properly with my slow Internet to make an account there or anything. I'd have to already know about something and then search for it via Google to find reddit news.

I don't know about Hook, but Mim hasn't been revealed yet. So that one could be a while. The only villain pop that I remember being recently revealed is the new Queen of Hearts with King of Hearts.
