Miss Sally likes to play sometimes. She'll just get a bolt of energy and want to play. I have captured a playful moment with Miss Sally:
And don't worry- I'm bringing her this morning to get her nails cut- I know they're long.

Cute!
Unfortunately, my cat, Calli, was very sick this past week and had to be put down.
I'll try and post some pics of her, but I have none on my computer, so I can't now.

Oh no. That's really sad, I'm sorry to hear that, Andrew. May she rest in peace.

Added a new family member last week:
His name is Dozer (short for Bulldozer), he is a rescue Pug. He was found during a raid on a Puppy Mill last February. He was nursed back to health by a great foster family for the last several months and apparently my mom had secretly submitted and adoption application on my behalf and it was approved recently and he joined my family on Friday.
He's the happiest little dog I've ever seen which is so fantastic considering all he has been through, and I am happy to give him a loving home for the rest of his life.
Taking him to the vet for the first time tomorrow. Hopefully everything is good.

I recently moved in with my younger sister, and she's allergic to cats and we can't yet afford a dog (plus, we have carpet and I'd prefer hardwood floors when I get a dog), but she's always wanted a tortoise, so a few weeks ago we got Lando. Took this video when he finally started eating (takes them a while to adjust).

Who knew that a tortoise eating a salad would be so cute?! So cute. I always feel bad for caged animals who are alone...does he play out of the cage with the two of you? Do tortoises mind being alone?

I am the same way, but the Pet Store guy implied that they do better alone. I will have to research that more though. We do take him out and let him wander around practically daily though. In truth, he likes to eat a lot, but then most of the time he likes to sleep or be inside his log it seems.

No basket of clean laundry is safe whenever Koji's around.

^ Aww, my cat does that, too. Except whenever we leave the dryer door open, he jumps in there, too. Gosh, I really miss my cat and dog. Why did I have to choose a school that I couldn't commute to? I really really miss my pets. Patch (my dog) gets so excited whenever I come home. He runs around the house and jumps up on top of our couch and waits for me to go up and pet him (all the while he's shaking his stub/butt. We always joke that he's going to wiggle his butt off because he has like a 2 inch stub for a tail because that's standard for cocker spaniel's; we didn't do that though. He was a shelter dog, so we don't really know went down with his previous owners, but we love him to death). Oh, and my cat's name is Roger. Yes, Roger. I named him when I was in the 6th grade, okay?

This is my cat Jayla. I got her for my 16th birthday which was 3 years ago. My mom adopted her for me and she's been freeloading ever since

Here's Koji once again, my tuxedo cat, and the newest member of our family, Cinder.
Cinder is half beagle, half labradoodle. She was born in July so she's still a pup, and we're not sure exactly how big she's gonna get.
I'm amazed they're finally able to sit still around each other, lol.

These are the cats I live with (if you were friends with me on MySpace, you might recognize them):
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="
http://www.youtube.com/embed/hcEvtbU8WR0" frameborder="0"></iframe>
Me and my roommates kinda co-bought/acquired them over the last decade, so I can't say which one's mine and which ones are theirs. The cats kind of adopt us. Though, there's no question that C.C. (the first cat) is mine. He follows me everywhere when I'm home. The second cat, Priscilla Cleopatra Patches Sanchez, is more mine than anyone else's because I named her (over and over again

) but she also hangs around me a lot. She never comes to my room but everyone always remarks that she's only happy to see me. I'm the only one she meows at when she sees me passing by. The 3rd cat (the dark one), which I took with me when I left home but my parents' named, is Puffadoodle and he is no one's cat. He used to be really mean and attack everyone but now he's a lot better and really affectionate. The 4th cat I just call Orange. But my roommate's girlfriend named him Ory Main after Patrick Swayne's character in North and South. He mostly hangs with my roommate's boyfriend and his brother.
