Well, I saw Catwoman last night.

I wanted to like it. I really did. It had all the potential to be a camp classic. Sharon Stone alone could have ensured this. But it either took itself too seriously, or Halle did.

Some terrible dialogue ("Didn't hear me? Here's the remix..."); unnecessary SFX (a CGI cat for god's sake. Are cats that hard to come by?) and some really annoying support characters.

What irks me the most is that they had a perfectly good Catwoman character at DC, and Warner could have accessed this (as they effectively own DC). Instead, they invent a Catwoman story. No it neither succeeds as an adaptation nor a camp classic.

Booo, Warner! Booo!

I just saw Mean Girls- not a constant knee-slapper like I had expected, but still very funny and probably worth an eventual purchase. It raised my opinion of Lohan, but only slightly.

Dodgeball!

Best movie ever. It had everything: a pirate, David Hasselhoff, William Shatner and some great mullet and mo work.

On par with a Magnum P.I. marathon...

Saw Shark Tale and watched Mean Girls for the first time. ST was incredibly stupid, but MG was viciously funny! The extremely cynical portrayal of school "sociology" was just hilarious!
