The trailer was not as good as the previous one. After the first trailer, I thought I was going to enjoy the film even if it didn't turn out to be good, but now it seems so depressing, where's all the fun?

I think TV spots will highlight the humor. Maybe focus groups liked the more adventurous, serious aspects for the trailer, although it still has some humor. I think it'll be a good time at the movies with this one!

Really liked the balance of humor and drama in the trailer but the CGI is rough. I know Disney is notorious for releasing trailers without finished CGI but that leopard or cheetah or whatever it is, as well as that Davey Jones-esque villain at the end look so bad to me. Worse than the original Will Smith Genie bad.

I had the same thought while watching the trailer. What's with Disney and bad CG lately? These movies are so expensive yet the CG effects usually suck.

This movie doesn't do it for me. It tries too hard to mimic Pirates of the Carribean. I wasn't expecting something original given the film's genre, but I imagined the execution would have been better. The jokes fall flat, the action is paint-by-numbers and the two leads have no chemistry together. Frankly, I find Artemis Fowl more interesting than this.

I hope the first four POTC movies will come out on 4K Blu-Ray as tie-ins.

What on Earth?

I think the special effects look very good, but I agree the first trailer was better.

That's a mystery I've often pondered myself.

They misreported it— it’s being pushed back a whole year to July 30th, 2021.

This is the second time the film has been postponed.

Despite the film having all the usual ingredients for a blockbuster, I don't believe it will be successful. Just a gut feeling, I guess. We'll see.

The first time was because Disney executives were really impressed by the resulting product so they wanted it to be a early Summer release.. apparently...

I personally don't mind to wait.. :D

With the first trailer I thought this could at least be fun, kind of like Jumanji. However I was unimpressed with the second trailer. This is The Rock though, he usually brings in audience. Emily Blunt can't hurt.

It sucks we'll have to wait so long, but the new release date makes sense. Dwayne's films depend a lot on asian box office results, which is why their press tours always include stops in China and Japan. Travelling would have been impossible in July. Plus, he said in a recent Instagram video they want the parks to be fully functional again when the film is released. And it's obvious the film is expensive and they're expecting a franchise out of it. It would have flopped this year.

By the time it's released, we'll hopefully have a vaccine (it's funny the film is about the search of a panacea).

I think it can easily do nicely at the Box Office :P as long as it remains scheduled for summertime.

Something like POTC 5 performance!.. That wouldn't be too tough.
