:pink: I knew it had to (since the spoilers mentioned Endor + Ach-To. Fingers crossed for Christmas I get more of those characters + BY!) And I'm torn; I haven't watched those new trailers yet...I read most of the spoilers but I guess I don't want too many visual spoilers, but those trailers aren't spoilery, right?

Porgs are on the international poster which I posted a page back. Plus, they've been showing up in merchandise so they've been confirmed for a while.

The TV spots aren't really spoilery, especially if you didn't think the main trailer was. However, you may have additional context for some of the scenes since you've read the leaks. I'd say the below quoted post of mine has the most "spoilery" TV spots so you might want to avoid those then if you want to be surprised by the visuals.

New TV spots featuring lots of new material. Highlights include Palpatine having more dialogue, Duel of the Fates from The Phantom Menace playing before segwaying into Darth Vader's Imperial March theme, and more scenes of Rey and Kylo which correlate with the leaks.

I really hope this one's good cause so far I like the films in this trilogy. If it is then I might like this trilogy more than the original.

Right now this is ranked as even for me with the OT but I might even prefer the ST when this is all over, much like you. The Last Jedi is currently my favorite Star Wars film and from everything I've seen and heard, The Rise of Skywalker might even beat that. I hope it does anyway since this will be the last film but I imagine a lot of that will be based on how much they do with Leia and Kylo's ultimate fate for me.

Also I realize I never posted this film clip. It premiered on Good Morning America earlier this week and it's the first full clip from the movie at 30 seconds. A lot of the footage has been used in TV spots since then as well.

Collin Trevorrow's plans for Episode IX before he was fired and replaced with JJ Abrams have been revealed and boy are they terrible. I guess all those people who wanted Rey to be Kylo's sister might have been pleased with this, but even then, she was never his biological sister but instead, just a close friend who was like a sister.

I can't believe Rey was the daughter of Leia's maid and childhood best friends with Ben Solo, who is a good decade older than her. When he was 11/12, she'd be about 0-2 years old but somehow this is a believable friendship?

The fact that the ultimate confrontation at the end of the film was supposed to take place at the Solo residence and be resolved from some pictures is absolutely horrendous as well as there being no plotline beyond Kylo trying to turn Rey evil and Rey trying to turn Kylo good.

I’m sorry, but this kind of plot sounds really stupid.

That's because it is lol. Ironically enough Trevorrow has publicly come out and claimed that this script was never his but created by someone else right after he left. It was so bad even he didn't want to be associated with it.

Major new clip/trailer featuring revelations about Palpatine and Kylo Ren. Also cameos from two major characters.

The implications of this are huge. Now we know that Palpatine did in fact target Kylo since he was a child. A lot of theories were out there about it being Palpatine or Snoke who spoke to Kylo through Vader's helmet and it turns out that both are true because even Snoke was an extension of Palpatine. All the voices in Kylo's head have been Palpatine who has been actively manipulating him and perhaps even Luke. Some are even questioning if the Palpatine we know was also not more than a vessel for a darker, more evil power that would be the manifestation of the dark side.

A longer TV spot. The Leia footage here comes directly from TFA deleted scenes on the Blu-Ray so that's neat that they're using even the publicly released footage. I always liked her deleted scenes and am glad they can be repurposed.

I haven't seen the film yet but from people who have seen it, most of the leaks are basically true. However, there's still a lot of stuff that wasn't reported or is different in the execution so a lot should still be a surprise for those who did read the leaks.

Also while Star Wars films will continue, this film has been touted as the end of the Skywalker film saga. However, last night at the premiere, Kathleen Kennedy basically confirmed that this isn't the end of the Skywalkers in film and more than likely we can expect to see more of them one day (I predict 10 years at the minimum and 20-25 years max).

https://geektyrant.com/news/lucasfilms- ... -star-wars
Lucasfilm's Kathleen Kennedy Says They Aren't Necessarily Finished with the Skywalkers in STAR WARS
I have to say it's a mixture of emotions, I have to say because we've had such an incredible time. It's just flown by these five years and doing these three movies and to realize that we're completing the saga and we're not finishing the Skywalkers necessarily, they could always in one way or another reappear but for right now it is bringing it to a close."

54% on RT. They should have kept Rian instead of that hack JJ.

Yeah that's pretty disconcerting. I've seen some scenes on Twitter that fans have uploaded. I think I'll enjoy the overall film but I put a lot of trust in JJ and it sounds like he doesn't live up to his promises.

I forgot, did you read the leaks already? That may mentally prepare you for some of the decisions taken.
