Oh and while the teaser was in English (well Josh Gad's one line that is), it said "from the creators of Rapunzel and Wreck-It Ralph". Which is always nice to see.

I'm afraid they're sticking with 'Frozen' here though.
Yes, they are going to call the movie Frozen here. The Snow Queen from WizArt Animation is also being released here and that movie is already using the title 'De Sneeuwkoningin' (which means The Snow Queen).

I guess Disney didn't want to confuse people so sadly they couldn't use the original title. :(

Isn't it pretty well established (and now stated by the directors) that this isn't an adaptation of the Andersen fairy tale, but an original story that was only initially inspired by The Snow Queen? This time around I see it as a service to the fairy tale to not claim it's name when it bares little to nothing in common at this point.

Yeah, the reception for the teaser with the crowd that I saw Monsters U with was very strong as well. TONS of laughs.

Strangely, the trailer with the weakest reaction seemed to be Planes. There was but one awkward chuckle throughout.

Elsa looks kind of like a younger version of Mother Gothel...with blonde hair.

3...2...1.... and that bland illustration does not make a strong case for your argument sorry. :)

Argument ? No. Just venting. I'm shocked that you think it's bland imo it looks beautiful. But oh well.

I thought the same thing, thelittleursula, but I was going to keep it to myself because certain people hate to hear that. I think, in general, human characters do look better hand-drawn. I would say 3D's only really suited WIR so far of the films they've made, also MTR since it suits the futuristic setting (imo).

I don't mind saying the 3D I've seen of the characters so far is unimpressive. There have been other 3D films that look better than the few shots we've seen , but maybe it's just because the film isn't entirely finished and/or Disney is so far behind their competition, who knows. I thought Tangled looked prettier than this does so far, but it's mostly in the backgrounds because the character models haven't changed or improved at all between the two films.

I'm all for hand drawn versions of these characters. I just think this particular illustration is bland.

So for the record, I do agree. Just not on this image. :P
