They obviously want to ride the success and popularity of Frozen when they can, but still keep them separate to a degree while Frozen merchandise continues to sell like hotcakes. It's business, and I think it makes sense. I doubt most of the public and those who actually purchase Disney Princess and/or Frozen merchandise care too much either way. I certainly don't care since I find the Disney Princess line to be a character-assassinating, barf-worthy franchise anyway.

I think they will include them in the line when they need to, and remove them as they want to as well, whichever is most convenient for them I think.

That's weird. Won't this brand muddling create consumer confusion? Won't licensees complain about getting swindled into paying double to get both franchises when it's really just one? I think it makes more business sense to keep the lines clear between the two franchises. So far, only the Frozen Lego products include the Disney Princess logo in the U.S.

There are also some Disney Parks products from Anna and Elsa that have the Disney Princess logo!

To be fair Tinker Bell and Minnie Mouse are also included under the Disney Princess logo for that line. It just includes the most popular female characters alongside the princess lineup. I wouldn't be surprised to see Alice and maybe even Lilo show up soon.

Well, Tinker Bell was initially a part of the franchise. At least unofficially.

Disney on Ice is debuting a new show called Dream Big to coincide with the "Dream Big, Princess" campaign and features the Disney princesses alongside Anna and Elsa.

At least without the logo's/brand's of Princess' and Frozen's

Disney is releasing a new mobile game called Enchanted Tales that features the Disney princesses and the Frozen sisters.

It's just Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, and Tangled right now. I've started to play, with Beauty and the Beast of course. I can unlock another world, but I'm saving that for the upcoming worlds they'll update the game with. Hoping for Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Peter Pan, and Snow White.

kinda surprised to see Hans in that promo pic there. I assume its b/c the Frozen game involves defeating him somehow.

The new Frozen Lego products don't feature the Disney Princess logo anymore.

But she's featured quite briefly in just one shot

Pardon my juvenile behavior, I couldn't resist. At least Anna's presence would've made more sense, since Elsa is (as an adult) a Queen at the majority of her screentime.
