I'm surprised Dark Horse was licensed a comic tie-in for the film. Thought Marvel would handle that.

I'm glad that Incredibles 2 will be the first Disney film to start having McDonalds toys again. I still remember the McDonalds toys for the first film fondly.

Thanks, JeanGreyForever! Does that mean that Mr. Incredible's car from his early superhero days will appear in the movie or are the toys from both films?
Everything depicted in the toys seems to be from the sequel, so I imagine that the car will make an appearance in the film or have some sort of relevance. I don't think they would bring it back otherwise. Since Helen is wearing a variation of her original costume, it wouldn't be too surprising that Bob gets nostalgic as well.

OK, so it looks like both Elastigirl and him will make a comeback as individual superheroes before fighting as a family team. Interesting.

Same. I've bought several other properties after the Harry Potter Lego games were so fun. Even PotC. I'm only a casual fan of PotC, but the Lego game for the film was incredibly creative. I wish they'd do something like this for classic Disney films. A game that collects 3 or 4 Disney films into one if they're worried about one film not being enough content for one game. I hope The Incredibles won't have film dialogue inserted. I didn't really care for that in the Lord of the Rings game. Part of the fun is how they explain the plot without words. HP was hilarious that way.

The new poster is cute. Thanks for the comparison, Sotiris. Has Dash's model really changed that much?? :o

^Thanks, Sotiris! Also, a mural at Pixar gives us our first look at the movie's main villain. This Youtube video gives more details about it, and reveals the identity of the masked character at the end, which has been discovered thanks to a Lego set. There's a spoiler alert before the reveal, so if you want you can watch only the first part of the video without being spoiled.

^Thank for the info! The villain seems really interesting, even though his pun-based name is a bit silly. :embarrassed: I hope his identity won't be another "twist" though and it's revealed early in the film (to the audience at least). I like the idea of his sister possibly being the mastermind behind everything.

A lot of new details about the story and the characters. Among them, more info about the Deavor siblings and that Tony Rydinger, Violet's schoolmate, will appear in this sequel. There are mild spoilers:

I find it interesting too. I think his identity will indeed be revealed quite early in the film, because it’s quite obvious who’s behind that mask. Since the moment they showed us the new characters I immediately suspected he was the villain. Also, if it was a big twist in the movie, they would try to hide it more. They wouldn't reveal his identity in a toy, and he even looks evil in that mural. It’s too obvious actually, so maybe he’s not the real villain and there’s someone else (his sister, as you said, or some other character).

Edna seems to appear in a lot of scenes. Do you think she's going to have a bigger role in this sequel?

Love the new Edna video with the Incredibles 2 clips.

Also glad to hear that Tony will be back and will learn that Violet has powers.

I'm also hoping they don't go for a twist villain.

He must have a sizable role compared to the other superheroes if he was the one picked as a figure.

Love how the new poster pays homage to the original one which was always my favorite. I love the addition of the villain above the logo plus the other "superheroes" standing in the back. The raccoon seems to be popping up a lot though.
