I know this has been a struggle Luke, but I hope now that this has been achieved, you'll be able to rebuild and regain what you've lost and the site will continue for many years to come.

Is that from a Google tutorial or something??? Regardless, I just Googled the two just to believe it for myself

I don't know if anything has changed, as I discovered the same thing back in July (that the site comes up as #1 when you search for it by name). I tweeted @UltimateDisney (don't know who that is) asking if everything was fixed and they responded:

"unfortunately not. searching for our url has brought us up as the #1 result all along (or at least it usually does) but searching for terms like 'disney dvd' (which used to bring us up as a top result) no longer does"

I just tried "Disney DVD" in Google and the site still isn't coming up.

I really hope the sitepocalypse is over.

Even though an alternate message board was a good idea in concept, I don’t think it would ever work as well as UD where there are at least some rules and mods who will enforce them. If the original UD had went down, I probably would have just looked for another forum. I'm glad the community here will be left mostly in-tact.

When you google 'disney dvd review', this site comes as #1 and when you google just 'disney dvd', this site is the #7 result of the first page!

Rules and moderation had definitely been planned for DM, but since it was only intended to be a back-up for UD there was no need to invest the time and energy into creating any until the fate of this site became certain. However, some members seem attached to the new place so I'm not sure what Heartless plans on doing with it now.

This may be true (about the rules and moderation) but some have other plans:

Disney Mania DID plan on having rules and moderation. I can guarantee that it's not going to be a free-for-all there as that was never the intention. There is no reason why anything should need to be offensive. None at all.
