I believe someone confirmed that it will June 2010 when it comes out

I'm counting on it. For a few years now, Disney Europe has finally began to release everything that's been released in the US. Maybe it will take a few more months. Oliver & Company was released in February in the US, and The Netherlands only got it in June. Everything's possible with Disney.

Uh, shouldn't the site have a review up by now?
Has this been delayed?

Also, does anyone know if there is a Dutch release planned before June?

The site takes a bit to get reviews up. They're only getting the Toy Story reviews done now.

Just saw a commercial for this on USA HD. This could've had a Blu-ray release. Very disappointed. I guess Disney is just a tease like that though.

I saw it in HD during Wheel of Fortune on NBC earlier

So did I! Great to know there's someone else here who watches WOF! :)

I'm surprised this isn't coming out on Blu-ray too, especially considering all the hype around Tim Burton's version.

I'll have to pass on this, I've already got the Masterpiece Edition, and I don't care about the movie enough to double-dip.

We haven't received Alice in Wonderland and, from what I understand, we won't be, nor will other outlets. Strange but (provided it doesn't show up in the next few days) apparently true. And our reviewers only got the Toy Story Blu-rays last Wednesday, so it's not as if they're dragging their feet.

Sadly...I bet Disney would have sent it if classic Alice had a blu-ray combo...ashame they won't send you or anyone a DVD copy to review since no blu ray (at this time at least) is being released alongside it.....but it makes you wonder....could this be a sign its in the works for Alice in Wonderland (cartoon) to come to Blu ray next year in that empty slot of Spring 2011...

Why would they release it only on dvd now and then blu-ray later? That's counter to the recent trend of doing the opposite (Snow White and Toy Story for example), and doesn't follow their pattern of pushing blu-ray either.

I'm so sorry but I just have to laugh at this comment. Everything is "counter" and "opposite" with Disney lately.

Yeah, I had that suspicion too.

And, if you ask me, Disney's trying to be unpredictable. The only things predictable with them is

1.) Uniformity is eventually abandoned with everything

2.) If we dont like it, they'll do it. end of story

3.) They dont wanna spend a dime on a dvd/movie that's worth anything less than Platinum/Diamond Status, and even then, they often disappoint

hahahahaha this one made me actually laugh out loud haha... so unfortunately true.

"What's that? The fans DON'T like it when we push back release dates?! Okay! So how long can we get away with pretending we're about to release Dumbo? A year and a half? Hmmm... But can we push it to TWO years?! That would be even better. And in the meantime, let's finish up those four Hannah DVDs and the other two Jonas releases. They like those, too."

Ah well.

By the way I went to check the reviews for Snow White, Toy Story and Princess and none had any trailers for GMD or AIW.

That's some pretty crappy promotion.

Who is getting this tomorrow? :?

I am still thinking of passing up on it! Any coupon for this re-release?

If this was going to be on blu-ray I would have so picked it up. :)
