Leaves a person kind of speechless, don't it?

I can't believe they get away with it, personally.

This is the food thread, right. :p Even though I helped derail it. :D

I'm eating country fried steak, peas, and rice, and drinking chocolate milk!

My plastic cup measuring cup is a 2-cup capacity measuring cup. A few months ago, I forgot this and put 4 cups of water in the pan to make rice, when I only needed 2 cups. I made rice pudding with the mushy rice. Today, I also didn't pay attention and put double the amount of water needed for the rice. I wanted rice for my meal, so I added some potato flakes to thicken it up. Bobby said it's not bad, but it's weird. At least the rest of the food is really good.

Pan-fried Spam (well, store brand Spam) with pineapple and BBQ sauce, with the rice-potato mush, and cornbread. I don't usually have cornbread at home, but the rest of the meal is one I like to make when I don't know what else to make.

Peanut butter & chocolate oatmeal! I was going to put peanut butter & jelly in my oatmeal, but we have none, so I put chocolate in it, too. It's SOOOO yummy!

I volunteered at a luncheon today, and many of the volunteers took home leftovers (chicken salad & rolls), which I'm eating now. The luncheon started at 12 (?), but the preparation started well prior to that, so I'm not sure how long the food was left out for (I left at 2-something), but a lot of us took home food, so if I get sick, I guess I can take solace in knowning that I'm not the only one. :p It wasn't warm when I took it. It's really yummy, though (the roll is actually just kind of blah, but the chicken salad is awesome). But, after I put food on my plate, I had left the plate too close to the edge of the counter, and I found Harry either licking or eating. I know that some people share their ice cream cones with their dogs, but I don't. My dogs eat poop. I hope I don't get sick. It's a risky meal. :p

Yesterday when I woke up, I decided to soak some navy beans to use for supper...I wasn't sure what I was going to make, though. I think I figured I'd just throw things together to make a soup. And I did. It had beef broth, navy beans, rice, and carrots, with oregano & parsley. I liked it, but Bobby thought it was just blah. He mentioned how there was no meat in it (yet he's the same person who says that every Tuesday should be a vegetarian day...which we don't follow, but I mean, we eat enough meals without meat to make him feel okay...it's not like we're vegetarians). Yeah, I'm blabbing. :p
I was eating peach yogurt, but I haven't really decided what else to eat for breakfast.

I just ate some Skyline Cheese Conies (mustard, no onion):

The best thing on this planet (except maybe Skyline's 3-Way or Chili Cheese Fries or Chilito)

I'm eating shrimp seasoned with seasoned salt, with hash browns (the little square kind, not the shredded kind- I like both, but Bobby prefers the squares), corn, & salsa. It's amazing (but Bobby doesn't like it). More for me!

A couple of hours ago, chicken strips and potato skins.

But I'm craving a Disneyland turkey leg. And I've never had a Disneyland turkey leg.

The last meal I ate was Salsa Chicken with Rice and Green Bean Casserole. The last thing I drank was a new smoothie concoction made up of Pomegranate juice, an Apple, half a Carrot and Spinach. Sounded great on paper, but after tasting...I wouldn't recommend it. :P

Package. And I drain most of the water, so yeah it's like just pasta in a bowl. Good for taste but gives me killer heartburn.
