Julian Carter wrote:BTW, I wanted to ask ... I've read that MTR is to be coupled with a classic Disney short, namely "Boat Builders". Will the short be shown with every issue of the film anywhere in the world? It's just that I keep getting doubts as to whether the short will be shown here in Malta. On the other hand, why not? "One-Man Band" was shown before "Cars" last July in my country, so why not "Boat Builders"?[/u][/i]
Well, "One Man Band"(and every other Pixar short) was technically part of the movie's OAR, as opposed to say trailers which is a combination of the amount of money paid for amount of promotion of those trailers and the theater owner's decision. I really don't know how much Disney is pushing with "Boat Builders" but I doubt Disney will give it the same attention as they do with the Pixar shorts.
Also, if you see it in 3-D(which I'm not sure is an option in Malta) you'll be able to see the short "Working For Peanuts"(the 1953 3-D short starring Donald and Chip and Dale) instead. At least according to
this.

I end up seeing everything that Disney makes, gotta check it out at least once. To be honest I wasn't excited about chicken little when I first heard about it, but I ended up seeing it 3 times in theaters (once in 3D).
Meet the Robinsons looks like it might be good.. and I was also actually just trying to remember this morning what the last Disney movie was that featured real people as opposed to animals... I guess it was The Incredibles? (and yes I know it's technically Pixar, but same thing!)

robinsons comes out here march 29th!!!! can't waitttttt!!!!!!!! i know this will be eons better than that trash of a movie chikin lil'. and i urge every disney fan to watch this movie in cinemas instead of just waiting for it on disney dvd. forummers usually complain about the box office downturn for disney flicks. dont u think we all play a part to contributing to its success?
the ripples. what about them? so small at first, then look how they grow. but someone has to start them.

There are downloadable links throughout the threads in this forum. You can use the search feature at the top of the page or click on my profile and then click on "find all posts" and look for posts related to trailers.
Hope this helps!
PS: Do you have a certain trailer you want to download?

Damn.

It's not an option ... there are no 3D theatres here. Well, there used to be
just one IMAX theatre, but it closed down due to bankruptcy - and never gave me the chance to see a 3D film for the first time in my life.

Wow ... Disney was dabbling in 3D for 2D shorts in the 1950s!? That's fascinating. All I know about Working for Peanuts is that involves Donald, Chip n Dale and an elephant called Dolores.

Guys, when can we expect to see the first critics' reviews of Meet the Robinsons (and see a bit of activity on RottenTomatoes)? It should be any day now, no? The critics don't review the film on its release date ... the reviews have to be ready at least a week before.

Wow

Thanks a million! It's more than i hoped for.
The Lilo and Stitch - Lion King has another version (the link of youtube). Could you find this as well, please?
The Chicken Little trailer is the wrong one though, i wanted the teaser one. Oh, and what about the Cinderella and The Lion King 1 1/2 teaser? Couldn't you find those?
Could you also find the Looney Tunes:Back in Action trailer? (the one with the James Bond parody) and the new Princess Enchanted Tales trailer?
I hope you won't misunderstand me of being ungrateful. If you can't find or are too bored to look for them it's OK. I'm more than grateful with the ones you posted for me.

Actually the first 2-D Cartoon ever released in traditional 3d format was "Melody" which was seen first back in 1953 this short is availble on Fantasia 2000s dvd release.
It would be really cool if disney reissued this short in ReelD 3D in the future.

Well, I've never seen Melody. However, on my Region 2 release of Fantasia 2000, I have Toot, Whistle, Plunk and Boom, which I believe was the second cartoon after Melody in the Adventures in Music Series - which never took off (TWPB was the last, I believe?). I love it and its heavily stylized animation. It won the Academy Award.
