Where the BB connection goes like this:
Price match. I don't use Ryan's discounts on DVDs/CDs, only for BIG purchases like Furniture.
Really, you should see me when I go to Best Buy. They usually have a register for me because the ads take up so much time.
They call themselves "Best Buy" so I'm just making sure my receipt has the "best" price on the DVDs since I'm shopping at Best Buy.
And Alan, CC had Simpsons 5 at $29.99, Simpsons 6 was $29.99. According to the CC ad the week of Simpsons 6 release "Buy Simpons 6 and get $10 off another Simpsons set".
----
and I purchased too many DVDs this week, the list would just be long... So I guess I'll just type:
Gladiator EE ($22.99)
still don't get what this "best buy connection" is all about

Is the "BB connection" when you compare prices to other stores to prove whether or not Best Buy truly has the best buy? How does it work exactly?

Look what you did,
Big Worms!

Okay, it's not really BB connection. It's part of their policy. SOME stores have this policy, and I'll use BEST BUY as an example:
If you bring in an ad that shows a price that is LOWER than Best Buy's price, they'll match it at the register.
Circuit City has a better policy (but they have limited DVDs on hand) where they will match the lower advertised price, and take an additional 10% the difference.
It's called a
Price Match.

*read the tiny print on the ads found in the Sunday newspaper.
-----
*well, let's put this back on topic!:
thanks to Ryan, completed the Three's Company sets (well, what's been released):
Season 2 ($19.19)
Season 3 ($19.19)
Season 4 ($19.19)
And hey Alan! Those DVDs were ordered from deepdiscountdvd.com!

good prices, good prices.

After a week of not buying DVDs, last Friday I got the following used at GameStop:
The Fox and the Hound
Oliver and Company
Lara Croft, Tomb Raider: Cradle of Life (I gotta return this though, cause while the case said widescreen, they stupidly put in the fullscreen disc from the other used copy.)
I would've bought Dr. No, Legally Blonde SE, and Iron Giant SE used at Sam Goody, but by then my mom was kind of giving me that stern "YOU HAVE ENOUGH DVDS AND YOUR ROOM LOOKS LIKE BLOCKBUSTER!" look. So I'll have to get those behind her back next time, lol.

Boy do I know that look! I get it all the time as well, especially now that I'm up over 250 DVDs (almost half of my entire family's collection). Anyways, I just got
Friends: The Complete Eighth Season and
Friends: The Complete Ninth Season
I'm preparing to get the final season the day it comes out so that I can get my hands on that beautiful box

Yesterday, Wednesday, hurt my wallet...
Monster-In-Law ($14.99, with bonus CD)
Clueless Whatever Edition ($13.72)
Cruel Intentions ($9.99 with an $8 mail-in rebate)
And a local video store actually had out a copy of Toy Story: 10th Anniversary Edition (with a slipcover, Alan!), so I bought it! I have to say, the picture is great, the easter-eggs (Toy Story Treats!) are a gas, and I absolutely love the commentary!

The Office: Season one (NBC version) at Cinema 1 for $29.99 (I LOVE Steve Carell in EVERYTHING so I had to have it but this is only the 2nd time I have seen It available and yes it was 5 bucks cheaper there but that was in TO so I cant go back there to save $5

Case Closed (Detective Conan): Triple Threat (individual episodes 74-76)
I haven't watched it yet, but it's truly a great show. It's a Japanese anime about a teenage detective that is turned into a child by a strange potion. He has to try to find an antidote while solving different cases. I just gave a pretty vague description; there's much more to it than that. It can get pretty graphic most of the time (almost every episode revolves around solving some kind of murder), but it has a great plot, great music, and every case will keep you interested until it's solved.
I highly recommend it.
