This is some clever promotion on Disney's part.

Former member, new username here - I haven't been able to access my old account so have been mostly lurking for years.
I flipped through the Big Golden Book at Barnes and Noble yesterday, which seems to cover even less story than the Little Golden Book, and feel pretty... confused?
I really like the animation style, what we've heard of the songs, and I'm generally excited for the movie, but the plot seems especially thin. I looked for the Junior Novelization to get more detail, but my store wasn't selling it yet.
I should probably approach Wish the same way I approached Encanto - I listened to the soundtrack beforehand but didn't know anything about the story, and even though some of the "rules of the world" contradicted themselves I walked away mostly satisfied. I guess Wish appeals to me more since it seems to have that classic fairytale hook, I'm just worried it isn't going to make a lot of sense lol.

What was the username to your previous account? If you tell me which member you were, I can get you access to your original account again.

New trailer from Latin America. It features a lot of new footage and a new snippet of "Knowing What I Know Now."
The soundtrack tracklist has also been revealed. Apart from the songs we already knew, there'll be a reprise of "This Wish" by Ariana DeBose and "Wish cast" and four instrumental versions of songs. Apparently, no score tracks will be included.
1. Welcome to Rosas – Ariana DeBose & Wish Cast
2. At All Costs – Chris Pine & Ariana DeBose
3. This Wish – Ariana DeBose
4. I’m a Star – Wish Cast
5. This Is The Thanks I Get?! – Chris Pine
6. Knowing What I Know Now – Ariana DeBose, Angelique Cabral & Wish Cast
7. This Wish (Reprise) – Ariana DeBose & Wish Cast
8. A Wish Worth Making – Julia Michaels
9. This Wish (Instrumental) – Julia Michaels & Benjamin Rice
10. I’m a Star (Instrumental) – Julia Michaels & Benjamin Rice
11. This Is the Thanks I Get?! (Instrumental) – Julia Michaels & Benjamin Rice
12. A Wish Worth Making (Instrumental) – Julia Michaels & Benjamin Rice

And speaking of the score, here's an interview with the film's score composer, Dave Metzger.

I wonder if the "This Wish" (reprise) is the one where during the climax, Asha is weakened by King Magnifico's dark magic and starts singing this song again, remembering that there is stardust in everyone. It's when her family, friends and all of the people of Rosas join in and where Star is strengthened by this and starts to repel King Magnifico's power to the point where his staff dissolves him inside the staff itself. Or it could be at the end of the movie where it leads to a classic sounding Disney choir. Personally, either one of them could be awesome if that was the case.

Well, to give my thoughts about the new material released: I love the new posters and the standees of Magnifico. And frankly, the new featurettes and trailers were far superior to the domestic one. And the final version of
This Wish is good, despite how it`s not particularly different from the version Ariana sang last year at Disney D23 Expo. But what`s remarkable is how despite it`s mandatory bi-racial setting, the song certainly does have a Spanish influence to it.

That was a remarkable short list. Most of the soundtracks to the Revival films have been long, so it`s awfully remarkable how short it is.

I still think this looks great. Better with each new promo.
Getting kinda hyped, which I haven’t been for a WDAS film like this since Moana.

Thanks for posting! The English version was first released by
Disney Latin America, so I don't think it counts as a final trailer, though, but an international one. A new poster for Latin America has also come out, as well as one for the song "This Wish:"

Yes, that's true. Perhaps, they'll release a deluxe edition that includes some score tracks later, like they did for the remake of
The Little Mermaid.

I prefer shorter track list, it probably means it's been curated better. I like frozen but they could stand to cut some of those tracks imo.

If this is a sign of what the official final trailer is going to be like, then it's as awesome, if not more so, as the final trailer to
Frozen. I wonder if the music snippet I heard during the moment Asha talks about King Magnifico, is going to be the music for "This Is the Thanks I Get?!". I guess we'll find out next Wednesday.

I completely agree with that.
Encanto was more a pleasant surprise than instant hype, but
Wish is giving me the hype that I haven't felt in quite a while!

First look at Asha's father from a new promo. I don't know if it's in storyboard form or if it's meant to be a sketch from Asha's notebook.

The new trailer has definitely been my favorite.
I'd welcome another proper finale number. I honestly tend to feel cheated when they skip out on them, and my favorite is when the characters themselves get to participate in the closing song a la Aladdin or Princess and the Frog.

It looks like a sketch from her notebook, to me. I hope they show us what her dad really looks like either in a prologue or in a flashback.
By the way, there's some Wish art in these two videos you might be interested in.

It's the best one so far. I wonder if the domestic final trailer will be the same or different. There's also the possibility there's not going to be one.

You're probably right. At first, I thought it was a storyboard, but then I noticed Asha is looking down, so most likely she's looking at her notebook. I have a feeling they might use these sketches instead of really showing us her dad. Although, on the other hand, they love showing Disney protagonists as kids lately, so a flashback is very possible too.
I had already seen them. I posted them
here, but thanks anyway.

I think this might be the unofficial final trailer, but we'll see. Since they don't have the actors to promote the film, maybe this time we'll get more sneak peeks or trailers. By the way, the royal horses helping the heroes in the Latin American trailer reminded me of Maximus from
Tangled, and the "Knowing What I Know Now" snippet gave me "Savages" vibes.

It's a nice trailer, and I am intrigued by the movie. But damn... that final shot of her... stolen from Pocahontas? And it's amazing how fast the wind kicked up hahahaha.
So I have listened to that The Wish song a bunch of times... and I don't know if I have ever both love and hated a song at the same time like this.
What I loved: Ariana's voice, her performance, a lot of the instrumentation, the chorus... so that is a LOT that I LOVED.
What I hated: the entire beginning up to the point where she sings "so I look up at the stars to guide me... and that middle section from "I never knew I needed room" to "so I look up at the stars...". It's like for those two sections they forgot to write music, so they just told Ariana to talk-sing a bunch of lyrics in a random, quick manner.
Anyone else think there is an echo in this song of the two anthems from Frozen 2 sung by Menzel?

Nice. Guess it means that they finished sound mixing and color coding, which was two of the things that needed to be finished according to one of the directors.

If anyone is interested in the lyrics to the second song in that trailer:
"If it's not us, then who and when?
If we don't fight then he knows he'll win
It's not allowed
Knowing what we know now"

Also, there is a chance that the final domestic trailer will be released on the 23rd because Disney is showcasing many trailers for their upcoming movies and Wish is listed as one of the movies.
