The poster was supposed to be there as a wink and a nudge to one of the other fairy tales.

Anyway, I gotta ask...why on Earth did Mr. Gold let Regina go free after she chose spoilernot to help him make Emma evil?[/spoiler] I mean...he let's someone go that is against his plans?!

You're probably right. That was the only instance for me that seemed like Zelena's return could had been planned all along. However, there are incongruities concerning her plan and her behavior as Marion. How was she planning to execute her revenge if Ingrid hadn't freeze her? How could she have possibly known Ingrid would target her or that after Ingrid was gone she would still get frozen? How could she have known that Regina/Robin would find a way to unfreeze her? Wouldn't have made more sense to oppose the union of Robin/Regina and try to separate them instead of being OK with it? It just seems way too convenient for Zelena to have orchestrated the entire thing since a lot of what happened seems to have been based on pure luck.

It looked to me as a blatant case of product placement. And a pretty tactless one at that.

Product placement makes me laugh, tbh--I'd prefer it just be obvious. I remember one episode of Desperate Housewives that had an opening completely designed as a car advertisement.

I kind of suspected Zelena was pregnant, but I wasn't sure if they'd go there or not. Still, I don't know why that would make Robin stay with her, since to me it's a baby made from rape. I mean, I get if they don't kill her because of it, but he should feel free to be with Regina now.

I like how Maleficent just abandoned Rumpel. Which is all he deserves considering he did the same in the past to her, Cruella, and Ursula. I'm not sure how to feel about the Lily plot, but I can see potential in it. The Sorcerer's Apprentice must be really stupid to tell her everything knowing she's dark incarnate and would only want revenge. I suppose the developments in this episode will likely mean Zelena and Maleficent remain part of the cast for a while. I'm still guessing the finale will be Lily asking Maleficent who her father is, and she'll reveal it's Jafar. :P

Maybe...I kind of forget what exactly was happening when Snow did that. I don't know if she needed to do it. If you remember, tell me and I might agree.
Well... She killed Cora to save Mr. Gold/Rumpel's life.

about the blatant product placement, well the whole show is one big infomercial for Disney. I mean the first half of season 4 was basically advertisement for Frozen. Also with Walt named in that scene with August I keep thinking they might even go so far as have someone travel back in time to the 1910s and have a them meet a young Walt. :P

Disney's Divinity I agree, except on the word rape. I wouldn't say that's exactly what happened.

DisneyJedi, I see then that maybe saving someone's life by killing a murderer is an act of goodness and not darkness, when you have to choose right there, but like Snow White said, maybe they should have looked for a better way, or even have to let Mr. Gold die, like she let her mother die.

This show is usually a bit of meandering, hokey mess, but I did love that they made Cruella a sociopathic murderer  Refreshing after the trend of misunderstood villain backstories.

She didn't force him to make her pregnant. You need to force someone against their will for it to be rape.

Well it is rape.... But I'd call it rape by deception.

But in a fantasy show, the term does have a different meaning.

It is indeed rape, Duster. It's called rape by deception. Look it up. Not every instance of rape is perpetrated through the use of force. Statutory rape is another example.

Of course, that doesn't get Robin off the hook completely, in my book. Even if Marion wasn't Zelena, he still shouldn't have slept with her. He didn't love Marion any more, he just stayed with her out of obligation and Marion was aware of that and had accepted that. So, he should have kept it in his pants. One could even argue that he cheated on Regina by sleeping with Marion.

At first I groaned when the flashback was another Evil Queen backstory, but I ended up loving this episode. Regina/Rumpel scenes are my favorites, and the one where she takes the author with her felt like something that’s been a long-time coming between those two characters. I felt as if Rumpel was finally getting the comeuppance for his actions that Regina dealt with in season 2, with him finally being alone and relatively powerless. Of course, the end of the episode shifted the power back to Rumpel, but it was nice seeing Regina on top for a moment. I loved the way the flashback and the ending with Zelena came together. This is why I had wanted Zelena to survive and have a relationship with Regina at the end of season 3, because they were both screwed by Cora. Lana Parilla was fantastic in all her scenes, and so was Rebecca Mader. “Sorry…?”

I actually like what they’ve done with Maleficent the past two weeks. The Emma, Hook, and Snow/Charming scenes were all nice, imo--especially Snow/Charming talking to Maleficent in their apartment and Hook crowing at Rumpel.

So looking forward to the finale--Rumpel as a knight and Snow as an evil queen is going to be hilarious.

I wasn't mad at all. Sometimes the intended tone doesn't get across in writing.

Probably a little bit of both.

Once Upon a Time was renewed for a fifth season, although I guess there wasn't any doubt about that.

I read that a fan asked one of the writers for the show how long they think the show will last, and the writer said something about 7 seasons sounding good. This wasn’t one of the creators, btw, but it still seems odd. I wouldn’t mind at all (especially with Downton Abbey going off, I don’t really have many shows I’m really watching anymore), but I was kind of expecting the next season or two to be the last.
