"suck" is not even the correct word for it. That would be beyond suck.

Beats not getting them on Blu at all. I would take that over nothing.

Fantasia now listed on Tesco, though with what I consider the 'nice' artwork;

That artwork is so much better! It's like the classy artsy art from the film! Okay, that should be for the Fantasia art, and then Fantasia 2000 have art with Mickey and the sprite and only Fantasia 2000 characters...

Just been to my local Disney store - the lady said it would be out on the 6th of December! The mind boggles.....

Since Disney is selling these two films together, not only does it open up the option of a Rescuers and a Rescuers Down Under package. I wonder if they will do this for The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and the 2011 Winnie the Pooh movie.

I find this HIGHLY unlikely. The 6th of December is on a Monday and releases usually come out on Tuesdays.

You never know. I just saw a commercial advertising that
How To Train Your Dragon is being released this Friday. But, yes, Disney has always (to my knowledge) always released films on Tuesdays.

This was a UK Disney store though - aren't Mondays normal for releases here?

Its really sad; where I am in the UK, there is absolutley no hype for this film at all. HMV arnt listing it throughout the store for preorder like BATB, hardly any trailers playing, merchandise etc. Really sad !

I just think its sad that Disney believe it doesn't deserve to be a Diamond Edition, and yet a film like The Little Mermaid does?

What's wrong with The Little Mermaid?

not sure. Never really thought about it. but when I saw "yet a film like The Little Mermaid" it seemed like there was something wrong with it.

I think so. The Little Mermaid is actually my favorite Disney animated film. I spent an entire summer growing up watching it every day.
Little Mermaid has everything a Disney film should have. Wonderful music, comedy, romance, beautiful animation, and a great villain. The story is timeless and so are the characters.
