I agree 100%! Sure, she is thick, but she isn't 300 pounds lol.
She has a great personality and she is VERY down to earth in all of her interviews.

Hopefully everything will match in the finished product.
Maybe (HOPEFULLY LOL

) she takes it off and has a anice sparkly dress like Belle.

Anyway, I'm actually very tempted to buy this. For one, I'm finally getting a PS3 this Christmas, and can finally watch Blu-Rays. B&tB is not exactly my no. 1 favorite, but the features almost look worth it. And hopefully I won't have to re-buy these films again after I get them on Blu-Ray.

OMG, this ia MUST buy for any Disney fan! I've bought ALL of the animated classics because A, I grew up woth them (most of them) and B, there is a lot of heart and soul into making animated films. You get to see great behind the scenes stuff as well. I am so glad I have a PS3, I love it!

So, there is a $10 coupon? And the Blu-Ray will probably be $30. So, the price should be...what a normal movie should cost.

The Blu-ray should cost you about $14.99 plus tax.
Most of the time in the first week, the movie is released they are on sale for $24.99 and under if you are lucky. I pre-ordered mine at Toys R Us!

I doubt she would be playing a horse!
I bet they are trying to make her as Babette.
It kinda matches with the jacket and all.

I've bought all the original classics as well. The only major ones I don't have are
Pinocchio and
Dumbo (and I don't think I have
The Aristocats or
Tarzan either, but...I'm not sore about those). I only have them on DVD though and I do want to update them, but I've been holding off until I get a Blu-ray player. Now that I'll have one, I'm going to re-buy my personal favorites until I have more money to spare.

Well, that's good, at least. I don't mind paying $15 for the B&tB Blu-ray. $20+tax seemed like a bit much for a movie I already own.

Divinity...
You amazingly gorgeous and well composed banner caught my eye, but I must say...the kiss in the middle, and then scenes of them before...and, with the Beast angry no less.
Please allow my typical perfectionist criticism which is just my opinion for yet another time. I think it might be better if there were either scenes of after the kiss in the right of the banner, or, just happy scenes, I mean, especially not the Beast all angry, which also rather conflicts with the way Belle looks on the right. Maybe the way he looked when he saw her in her gown, or was going to let her go?

The Beast isn't angry. It's from the scene where he's just let Belle go, and he's explaining to Cogsworth why. It's actually my favorite screenshot of him--there's so much emotion there.

As for the kiss in the middle. Well, that's the happy ending of the film (regardless of whether some people might not like that).
Disclaimer: all the screencaps come from the wonderful Magical Screencaps website.
Apologies to everyone else, for making this a little self-centered. But I decided to make the banner today because of the Diamond Edition of the film. I've been wanting to get back to my banners for a while, and this inspired me to do it.

I'm obviously an amateur, so I hope everyone likes it.
EDIT: To
Disney Duster (so I won't drag this out into more posts here, which would be inappopriate): With every film, I try to pick images that "sum up" that film for the most part. There were a lot of images I was tempted by that I didn't use, because they wouldn't help me communicate that. The end result ended up a little Beast-centric, with both Belle and Beast discovering what they mean to each other (he lets her go; she cries atop his chest once admitting/realizing she's in love). The middle is supposed to be where the two meet--the happy ending, the kiss. The colors may seem a little depressing (dark blues always are), but those colors--along with the purple of the rose there--are the colors that I remember most from the film (from nostalgia). They're mysterious and romantic.

Yes he's not angry. I guess I meant he should more match how Belle is on the left, to balance the picture. And I guess you don't agree about the happy scenes for happily ever after on the left part...

I thought at first they may have tried to make her Babette. But shortly after, I realized the jacket could represent Philippe's saddle and Philippe has pale feathered feet.

Wait, you get the Iron Pack when you pre-order it?!?!?!?!
Yeah you pay $7.5 and get the empty case, then you bring your receipt back when it's released and they deduct the $7.5 off your purchase of the combo pack.

I already pre-ordered it at Toys R Us though.
Hmmm, maybe I can just get the Iron Pack for $7.50
and then get my pre-order at Toys R Us because I will be getting a $10.00 gift card when I pick up the new Tinker Bell movie. So I will be saving only $2.50 but hey, better then nothing lol.

The price for Beauty and the Beast will at most be $29.99. No blu-ray movies are more than 29.99 at TRU.
$30
-10 Coupon
-5 Beauty and the Beast Pre-Order
-5 Toy Story 3 Pre-Order
-10 (Tinkerbell Gift Card)
--------
Even after all this, you will have a little bit of tax to pay. Add $7.50 to that and your total will be at most $10. IMO, that is not bad at all to get the Iron Pack and the movie because you are a huge Beauty and the Beast fan!
This is proof that you will save more money buying the Iron Pack at BB, and getting the movie itself at TRU. I question everyone EVERY time a new Disney release comes out. These "Deposit $5, Save $10" pre-order things make Toys R Us THE place to go!

I purchased my Ironpack today (which is absolutely stunning, by the way, most notably being the incredably detailed rose on the back, which glistens in certain light) and from the receipt, it seems that the ironpack only casts 5 dollars by its self, and the pre order costs $2.50. So I would guess you could buy it without pre-ordering for $5.00. Not much, but it will hopefully save you $2.50.

One drawback to living in central Los Angeles is that places like Toys R Us just aren't anywhere within reasonable driving distance. I like that additional 5 dollars off when you pre-order TS3 but I would spend the same amount on gas just driving to the closest TRU. I really hope that Amazon.com issues another discount code this year like they did for Snow White but after all the price-adjusting they were forced to do after that promotion I would not be surprised if they nixed that idea.

We may be able to get this for 9.99 if we're lucky. Walmart had Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs for 19.99 the first week, and with the 10 off coupon it came out to 9.99. Here's hoping!

Y'know, if someone can tell me with experience that you CAN buy the ironpack on its own, I'll do just that.

If you go to Best Buy, put $7.50 down for the preorder and take the Ironpak with you.... then come October 5th, just don't go back to Best Buy. Then you have the ironpak on it's own, and it cost you $7.50.
