Thanks. By the way, THAT is the true Flynn Rider I like, including Rapunzel. A+ infinity for the CG art that you have posted.

Polizzi, I think when Glen Keane made the concept art, it was before their designs were finalized. He was drawing a version of them in an earlier design.
But the finished animation we have seen...while not painterly and hand-drawn looking enough, it still looks very Disney, and very beautiful, and fairly like a fairy tale...

Absolutely amazing. It looks really soft and colourful. Not exactly like a moving painting, but still...
It looks like the leaked trailer is the one they're going to use. The Flynn-centric one.
Hopefully they will use one of Alan Menken's original songs instead of the Miley Cyrus crap they used in the leaked one.
And is it me, or does the image on the Wanted poster change?

Well, I guess I was kind of a little harsh on Glen's art, just for kicks after a swing on Rapunzel's hair, I shall change his work of art from A- to A+ infinity, to cheer him up.

I have this strange feeling that some people will still complain. I can see someone saying "why are they calling this a comedy-adventure?" or something to that effect...

The art direction looks absolutely exquisite! One of the most appealing Disney movies colorwise I've ever seen so far, based on these stills. Absolutely amazing. It's lush, epic, grand, detailed and dreamy, a true fairytale and absolutely groundbreaking for them to achieve such beauty in an computer generated feature film. It's a really good translation of the Disney feeling from 2D into 3D, the light is soft and wonderfull, but those colors, just drop dead gorgeous...
In my humble opinion!

It's... it's... BEAUTIFUL!
I was a little concerned, I have to admit, when I first heard "70 feet of hair" and "computer animation" used to describe the same project... It just sounded so mind-numbingly difficult and nearly impossible to perfect... But somehow, they've done it. The backrounds look lush and lovely, the characters are well-designed, the hair moves beautifully....
I am about 100x more excited now than I was half an hour ago for this movie!

Most people here seems only comment how great the artwork, animation, "faithfulness to true disney" etc etc. which is all great and exciting but....
I'm excite cause I like the characters. Seriously that's what makes disney classics so memorable: the characters. Although TPatF was decent movie, I never really felt connected or engaged with the characters. Dr. Facilicer was closest to that for me. I think that's why many people didn't really engage into the movie or really cared for it.
This movie however just by that video and the various revealed artwork of the characters: Rapunzel, Flynn, Pascal, and Maximus, I'm already engage and excited about them. I like all four of them already. They seems to be full of life and energy.

Don't listen to people's complaints about the movie, they're just having negative thoughts. You got to have positive thoughts, and believe that Disney's, "Rapunzel (Tangled)," will be successful. There's a metaphor when it comes to bad days getting to you, "Let the water roll off like the duck's back," it means let the bad days roll away. Those are the words that my father told me when I had bad days. For you Disney fans, you should say something like this, "Let the water roll off like Donald Duck's back," a Disney version of a metaphor. Some people just don't have the taste buds for that movie. I on the other hand, even though the name of the movie is kind of misguided, but deep inside the story and animation, it WILL become successful no matter what.

According to the website below Brad Garrett is voicing a character called "Hookhand" in Tangled.

You know what would be funny?Tangled turns out to be only 10% slapstick comedy. The rest is just drama. And Disney used only the slapstick scenes for the trailers.
I'm not exactly serious, but it's just that Disney is using only a
few scenes in for Tangled's trailers.(That would be zooming into the tower,Flynn escaping the soldiers,Flynn climbing the tower,Rapunzel tying Flynn,Rapunzel escaping the tower, and Rapunzel swinging around a tree.)Nothing to show the relationship between Gothel and Rapunzel;nothing to show Rapunzel and Flynn's romance.
Why are they showing the same old scenes?!!!

It's like they're hiding something.

Sorry to say this, but you cannot expect Disney to give it away, that would spoil the movie. That is why they put slapstick in the trailer, to attract customers to see the movie without seeing something boring. Disney puts the trailer in the fun way, to show customers that their next animated movie will be fun and adventurous. Besides, Disney will soon unleash more trailers in later months, including Madame Gothel.
