It looks like the DVD case version that Disney Movie Club had as an exclusive with a Tin (minus the Tin).
I don't buy any Blu-rays in DVD cases, or have any in my collection, but for the price I couldn't pass it up. Maybe the picture is wrong and they send out the normal Blu-ray combo pack in a Blu-ray case.

Hmm. This might be a good excuse to catch up on a couple of Disney blu-rays.

For the free movie ticket offer, can you buy any copy of the titles on the list and enter the code, or does it have to have the little sticker on the front that says it includes a free movie ticket to get the proper code inside?
In other words, if the stock on the shelf is not "fresh" for this promotion, will an "older" copy without the promo on the front still work?

They shouldn't need to have any sticker in the front. I entered my code for Roving Mars that didn't have any sticker and I got the free ticket.
Apparently it must match the disc types shown, however, as I entered the code for my Blu-ray copy of The Rocketeer, and it
didn't give me the free movie ticket offer. Odd that they would exclude some of the Blu-ray editions from this offer, but that seems to be the case.

^Thanks for confirming that you don't need a copy with the sticker on the front promoting the free ticket.
I too thought it was odd that the new Blu-ray version of The Rocketeer was not included among the titles. Some titles show both dvd and Blu-ray while others show only one. It sure is a strange way to promote the products.

Depends if this promo is really meant to get rid of some of their excess inventory. For example, I wouldn't be surprised if most people who bought a "cult title" like The Rocketeer are fans or at least home theatre enthusiasts, who would naturally favour the blu ray. By contrast, if DVDs today are mostly sold to "the masses", The Rocketeer may not have sold well in that format, at least compared to the blu ray.
What makes this promo really tricky is that some versions get you the $12 ticket and some get you the $8, and it's based on title rather than format. I would have thought they'd give you the higher ticket with blu ray purchases, and the lesser ticket with DVD purchases.

I just bought three of those movies on the Disney Movie Club today. What are the chances they'll let me have three tickets?

you should be about to get as many tickets as you have codes for the movies offered. I think i had 6 for the winnie the pooh movie. Sadly i got sick of having codes laying around and entered 3 of the movies they have tickets for last month. so no free movie for me.

I got a confirmation email this morning saying that my
Tales from Earthsea poster has been shipped! I can't wait to get it because it looks really great. Now I just need to buy a frame for it and find somewhere to put it

Mine shipped the other day, too! I went to Michaels (the arts & crafts store) tonight and got 2 27" x 40" frames. One is for the Tales from Earthsea poster and the other for The Secret World of Arrietty, when that ships.
The "Trendsetter" style frames are 40% off this week and there was a 25% off all wall and table frames (even on sale items) coupon in the Michaels ad this week. The frames are normally $39.99 but I got each for approx. $17.99 after discounts. You might want to check them out, they are a pretty good quality frame compared to others I've seen.

Got 'em all and entered them all (I'm pretty sure), so no free pass to John Carter for me.

Awesome, thanks for letting me know. I might go to Michael's either Friday or Saturday and check them out

Wally World also carries poster frames, they're pretty much the same as the ones Michael's carries, but they are a lot cheaper at Wally World.

I just posted this in the Lion King 1 1/2 and Lion King 2 thread...
I just read an email from DMR advertising these releases. Unfortunately there is no mention of a coupon.
On the bottom of the email they are advertising that if you enter any 2 codes between now and 5/31/12 you can pick a free copy between The Bridge to Terebithia on Blu-ray, A Bug's Life on Blu-ray (the re-release with the half title/half character image cover), and Tinkerbell on Blu-ray. Seems like a good thing, but if they're doing this instead of coupons... it's rediculously cheap.

New rewards added today. Looks like they're really pushing that "Lights-Camera-Action" motif, as there are at least three options to suit every budget.
Litho for 925 points:

Pin for 1,950 points:

I'm short 2662 pts!!!! Anybody got some to spare!!! How long do the figurines usually last???[/code]
What other flicks are coming down the pike?
I'm getting the mega Muppets edition with the soundtrack...but other than that and possibly Tarzan this Summer and Cinderella in the Fall...that's all I see coming...not enough to make up the points!!!
What do I do????

There's no telling how long a particular WDCC figure will last, but since it is one of the more expensive ones (at least they stopped raising the prices like they were a couple of years ago), it'll probably be around a while just on that.
Then again, the Aladdin villain one went pretty quickly and it was only about 600 points less, so who knows. It is neat and unique, after all...
