yeah, Jenny Lewis is a singer/actress... mostly a singer, she doesn't act anymore. she does kind of indie stuff. I think she's awesome anyway.

yeah, I got it mixed up. But I meant the repeat of that moment in the scene where Facilier shows Tiana her dreams.

Oh, okay. One of my favorite scenes in the film. It made me think of Hades promising Meg her freedom.

The yellow border is suppose to represent Tiana's job at Duke's. Besides taking orders, serving food, and cleaning tables, she has to keep mustard bottles full.

I miss the days when we would get some kind of artwork behind the discs.

I don't mind the yellow border so much. I like having some kind of uniformity among the releases. I'm sure I would be happy with something more appealing than Yellow, but they do look nice next to one of another.

Which reviewer was as retared as to describe this films as "the best Disney film since The Lion King" (which is on one of the covers shown)?

Yellow border? If they wanted to go with something different, I would think it should be green, no? Maybe they didn't want to be obvious and surprise us.
Disney's comeback to traditional animation=an extra special DVD/Blu-Ray release!
Full color disc... wait that's just a copy and paste from the cover and doesn't even cover the whole disc and one is gray.
Menus... Not much to see here, just screenshots from the film or concept art, with some text over them.
I guess I should expect this from Disney since they have been doing this for a while now, but I'm still disappointed each time they come out with a new DVD/Blu-Ray. With a company that has so many talented people, it's disheartening to me to see that there is little passion or artistry put into these DVD/Blu-Ray releases. This will in no way effect my purchase or enjoyment of the movie, but I guess Disney already knows that. "Why put effort and money into the presentation when people are just going to buy it anyway?" Sad.

I asked myself the same thing. They even shamelessly put it on the front cover.

To me it seems like they're trying to convince the general public that all movies that came after the "fab four" were awful, only to be able to call this a masterpiece in comparison (it's nice, but masterpiece... hardly). Just like they did with the period before the "fab four" - which will probably get emphasized again in that self-promotion film "Waking Sleeping Beauty".

Lilo & Stitch was far better, in my opinion.

So the DVD bonus features seem to be severely lacking. Oh well, the most important thing is the film which I can't wait to own a copy of!

Lilo and Stitch is better, but not that much. This movie deserves a little high-regard.

Plus, everyone knows that review quotes on the case are almost completely unhelpful in selling a movie. I know plenty of horrible movies with the praises being sung on the front and back covers.

I just wanted to share this: I went to the movies today and while I was waiting in line for my ticket, a woman in front of me with her two little kids (a boy and a girl around 5 years old) were indecisive about which movie they should watch. She wanted something family-friendly naturally.

She asked the lady at the booth and she suggested Percy Jackson and the Olympians for crying out loud saying that it's rated G while in fact it's rated PG (she obviously didn't have a clue).

I jumped in the conversation saying that movie is too scary for such young children and suggested The Princess and the Frog, praising a bit the film. The woman was convinced and they went to see the TPatF after all. I was so glad
