It's a small snippet, but I loved what I heard. Very curious to hear the full version.Sotiris wrote:Listen to a 30-second snippet of the new song "Evermore".
It's been removed when I clicked on it.disneyprincess11 wrote:Here's a clip of GASTON:

Luke and Josh's voices are perfect, but dang are the orchestrations messy! They're all over the place and I don't know which instrument to focus on. Plus, it drowns out the singing.
You can still watch the clip here: https://youtu.be/ntFrlZuHWhA?t=162DisneyFan09 wrote:It's been removed when I clicked on it.disneyprincess11 wrote:Here's a clip of GASTON:

It was deleted, but I saw a tiny clip of 'Belle' earlier and it looked awesome. I think this film will be a masssive crowd-pleaser.

I hope they'll still release the full orchestra version of that song!! You're right, that version sounds so much better than the version they released.taei wrote:But this is a great example of how the Ariana Grande and John Legend song should have been released. The Chinese trailer has an extra snippet of the instrumental parts used for the trailer version of their song, and it sounds AMAZING. I just don't understand how Disney released the crappy version that they did.Sotiris wrote:Listen to a 30-second snippet of the new song "Evermore".![]()
Evermore sounds wonderful. I know a lot of people like the extra songs in the original Broadway show like If I Can't Love Her and Home, but I never thought either were of the same quality as the original songs. Evermore however does so I'm excited to hear the whole song!Disney Duster wrote:Oh, yes I was wrong in my spoiler, it is actually a debutante ball that the prince is choosing ladies to dance with, not to be his bride, in which the women are seen in white gowns in the opening of the film.
Oh my gosh, Evermore sounds amazingly gorgeous! I didn't know what to expect other than I thought I'd like it more than the others, and now I'll bet it'll be my favorite. I'll bet it's the best of the new songs.
My friend wants to see this pretty bad and I want to see it quite a bit so I think I'll see it with her in IMAX the day of and pre-purchase the tickets!
And oh my gosh the enchantress looks AMAZING!!! But they give her a name and not the Beast?!!!! Well they gave her beggar woman a name. I am hoping to God they secretly gave the prince a name and are just keeping it a secret until people finally learn it upon seeing the movie. I mean even Cinderella got "Kit"! But I bet my hope will be dashed.
I felt the same from watching the clip. His voice isn't bad but it doesn't remind me much of Gaston.Marce82 wrote: The only thing I wasn't too sold on was Gaston's voice. I mean, he does an ok job singing... but he doesnt have the booming, super macho voice the cartoon had. Oh well....
Hm...well yes "Evermore" sounds better than those two musical songs, but I still thought those musical songs were good. This song is superior though, and what is also better about this song is it doesn't seem it will put words to background music already present in the original film. I am guessing Agathe is just the enchantress's beggar alias like you, but if even that name is given, how the hell did they not decide to give the prince one?! Because they don't want to make a big decision that ruins the original or make this film not be the original in live-action? Well they don't need to worry about that really, this is already a pretty different film. I mean Belle is an inventor instead of her father being one now wtf. I agree with you about the name except I don't think they would hide it just because they revealed the prince's look already.JeanGreyForever wrote:Evermore sounds wonderful. The name of the Enchantress might just be the name of her alias because they only call her Agathe as the beggar woman. I really hope the prince gets a name, because like you said, they gave Cinderella's prince one. I know the novelization doesn't have a name, but I'm hoping they keep it as a big surprise that you only get if you watch the movie. Especially since people complained that how the prince looks wasn't kept a surprise so hopefully they are making up for that by keeping the name secret.
Same. He actually sounds a lot like Hugh Jackman who actually played Gaston in the musical, but uh...that's not a good thing, vocally.JeanGreyForever wrote:I felt the same from watching the clip. Well, this makes me hopeful. I was never crazy about IICLH or Home either. But I'm not going to spoil myself by listening to them; I want to hear them in the movie first.JeanGreyForever wrote: Evermore sounds wonderful. There was never any way she was going to match Angela, lbr.disneyprincess11 wrote:
