The '05 Hacking, eh? Whee! I gotta disagree with Loomis here, though, and say that "The Hack" was by far the most extensive and interesting event that's occurred to the forum in the past year... or at least for this 2005 calendar year.

Besides, in an indirect way, the hack was one of the best things that happened to me, personally. It acted as a catalyst and brought me something great!



Of course, at deathie's suggestion, it was I who directly alerted Luke in the first place, as the hack started... but ah, well. Paka the Unsung Heroine!

It's not often that one gets a chance to use the avatar around here, but I think this warrants it. We get plenty of good ideas in these parts every day and tonight we honor the best of the best from the past year. The nominees for UD.com Forum/Website Idea of the Year are:

Jeffrey Katzenberg: Yes, Loomis was innocent the whole time, we made these replicas of his face and turned them into masks! He thought he was abducted by aliens, but it was just one of the old props from "The Black Hole" we found lying out the back of Disney Studios!

Hayao Miyazaki: Yes we disguised ourselves as him to sneak in here tonight, since Jeff's Shrek costume earlier didn't work!

John Lasseter: Yes we are the four Non-Disney Studio heads of the Apocalypse! We have been planning the demise of the Disney studios for years, we got the Don Bluth studios but it wasn't enough! Disney always has and always would have been the biggest threat to us!

Joan: Would have been?

Jeffrey Katzenberg: Yes, over the years we haev slowly been infiltrating the Disney studios, we manged to poach away their animators, script writers and all their best people!

Joan: But I thought they left because of Eisner's pay cuts?

David Brown: That's...

John Lasseter: David Shh! We agreed you could come as long as you were quiet!

David Brown: You are SO MEAN!

John Lasseter: That's what we wanted you to think! Ever wondered how Michael Eisner came to the company in the 80s frsh faced with new ideas, Eisner almost rebuilt the Disney atudios single handedly with new radical ideas he personally helped to bring back Disney's renaiassance! But then almost overnight, he seemed to turn from a hero into a sequel making, money grabbing evil person? Well the man you have been seeing for the few years is not the REAL Michael Eisner, he is locked up in a cellar in Poland! The man you have thought to be him is in fact Don Bluth under a mind control spell so we control all his thoughts! We could destroy Disney and slowly build up the most succesful animation studio in the world PixGhibDreamSky Pictures!

*Chorus of evil laughs!*: Mwah ha ha ha ha ha ha!

Joan: But he looks nothing like Eisner!

Jeffrey Katzenberg: No he has been taking Polyjuice potion! yes, that's right J.K. Rowling was part of the plan too! We would distract the world with a plot to get children interested in reading, the when they were flicking through the pages of The Prisoner of Azkaban we would swoop down and when the 7 books were over, they would look up, and Disney would be gone, but we've decide to move our plan ahead a few years!
