BTW your avatar is AWESOME!
That's what I thought when I first saw it. It does look like Eric Idle. And thanks, the avatar is friggin' awesome! (too bad I didnt make it myself

)
awallaceunc wrote:Been meaning to post this- hooray for the WB! I'm thrilled to see that they intend to fix this before the movie comes out. That's what I like to see.
Great new pic- thanks for posting once again, Sofaking. I agree that he looks a bit like Eric Idle, but much older. I also think he looks quite fitting for the part.
Your Welcome. And I am very happy to see that WB is going to fix the tombstone error. ATTENTION TO DETAIL!!

It looks like Eric Sykes to me, although I'm not sure. Any other brits recognise him? I'm not 100% sure.

Another new picture showing Harry, Mad-Eye, Dumbledore, and Karakoff.
Spoiler:
I believe they are talking to Harry about him being entered in the tournament when there was an age line.

I'm not sure if this belongs in this thread or merits its own but...
the theatrical trailer's online! Well, let me specify. The theatrical trailer's online with annoying host commentary, in low-res, and in edited form. You see, this premiered on the entertainment show "Extra!" Entertainment shows always edit trailers and have their hosts speak over them (like the trailer can't sell itself?). So, here's the trailer, anyway. Hopefully WB will post the whole thing in high-res on their website:

My thoughts? This looks AMAZING. It certainly seems to be the most epic and action-packed HP film, yet, which is what the advanced reviews were saying. Despite being barely audible thanks to the commentating, the music sounds gorgeous. I really hope that's not stock trailer music because it's too good to not be in the film. I like how they kept the trailer's format consistent with the previous film's (the taglines and logo written in stormy clouds). It seems that this is the HP trailer with the least amount of dialogue, yet. Even Sorcerer's Stone's teaser trailer (which was almost straight music), had more spoken dialogue than this. That's how a trailer should be. Let the images speak for themselves. WB, please give us the full version of this NOW!!

Yes, I've just seen this too, Its amazing.
I had too watch it a couple of times to see everything and work out what it was. Although bad quality I have made some pics of my fave bits.

The Beauxbatons giant carriage drawn by winged horses, looks beautiful

Here they are! The Deatheaters. I just wish the quality was better and a bigger video so you can see their skeletal masks, I know they are going to be very scary. Looks like in the middle one you can see the muggles being levitated above them.

No problem. I can't wait for the trailer either. Don't kill me for saying this, but I'm hoping the short clip on extra was taken from the trailer. I don't want to be too exposed to the movie.
And I'll be sure to update it with the High-Resolution picture.

Cool thanks. I also hope that this is the trailer (which it probably is) becuase I dont want WB to spoil the movie too much to me, and other fans who havn't read the 4th book. They better not ruin it in the trailer.

I hope Warner Brothers are smart with this movie to 1) Don't spoil it too much and 2) Advertise, because I want this one to make more than SS. I'm going to be biting my lip hoping this movie makes a lot.

Wow! You really didn't like HBP, huh? I love'd it. But I like going back and looking at the history more than GoF's action after action. Everyone's different.

If you wanna rank the Potter books, check out this thread:

It should probably be bumped anyways, now that the 6th book has been out for about a month.

All I can say is that Prisoner Of Azkaban is My favorite Movie and I kno For A fact it wont be when Goblet of Fire comes Out
Everything about this trailer is great and i Hope this movie makes more than sorcerer stone
I think It Mite Make More For Many Reasons
1. Except For Chronicles Of Narnia Harry Potter has the Box Office To Itself
2. When Chamber Of Secerts came Out It Was Aainst James Bond and there are ALOT of bond fans
3. When Prisoner Of Azkaban Was Coming Out Spidey 2 was around the corner and Shrek was still having a good run.
Heres What I think The Box Office Is Gonna Look Like For It
Friday Nov 18th: 40million
Nov 19th: 45million
Nov 20th 20million
Total: 105million Dollars
Reason: I can See It Easily Making That much Because This Was The Book That Started It All And Now We have A PG13 Rating
Thanksgiving Weekend
Thursday: 15million
Friday: 30million
Saturday:32million
Sunday: 15million
Weekend Total: 92million
Total: 220million
Reason: It will be Only Big Movie Playing This Thanksgiving Weekend and That is one Of The Biggest Box Office Weekends Of The Year
Week 3: December 2
Friday: 12million
Saturday: 20million
Sunday: 10million
Weekend Total: 42million
Total: 285million
Reason: Chronicles Of Narnia Opens that Weekend Another Popular Book So That Will Deffinatley Be Number 1.... Then For The Rest Of The Year Potter Shuld Be At #3 in The Box Office Because Of King Kong.
Overall Im Hoping that this Becomes The Biggest film Of The Year or Atleast Number 2 and Goblet Of Fire has a lot of buzz to make this movie huge.

SofaKing381222 Look at the spoiler below:
Well I thought it was lame since Dumbledore died and Bill got attack by Fenrir Greyback. It's sad that Snape betrayed Dumbledore ( maybe Dumbledore switch his mind into Snape and he really killed Snape. In book seven he swithes his body back.)

That's what I liked about it.
