Welcome Disneybell! :D
The only thing I don't like about the cover is how we see MORE of the prince than Cinderella! :( I hope they change that...*crosses fingers*

and TheLittleMerman, I'm also EAAAAGGERR for Cinderella, but I'm still sane (for the moment)!

That would be really awesome if the DVD covers were really like that. I would love a Lilo and Stitch cover with just Skrump or a Hunchback cover with his wood carvings or a TENG with Kuzcotopia! I just wish I had the time and programs and resources to make these covers on my own.
Those would be awsome, instead of the current generic-overcrowded-banal ones.
Would they look like the French Pocahontas one? (white w/ the feather)
Do you guys realize this is basically what Disney does with their Gift Sets....unless some one already said that! :D

We do realise that, the problem is that there are only 2 giftsets at the moment. We would like that kind of cover treatment for more releases.

Can someone please explain what a gift set is? I've read a bit, but don't ever recall seeing them or hearing about them before. Thanks :)

When we speak of gift set, we mean that more comes along with the DVD. In this case, the sketches and the book. For example, the LION KING gift set and ALADDIN gift set:

Those are what we want Disney to release for EACH Platinum edition. 8)

Giftsets usually package DVD's alongside some sort of physical item. In the case of the Disney Platinums, you get the movie on DVD, a companion book, some sketches, and a film frame all packaged in a classy box.

This page describes Aladdin's giftset in great detail (and includes pictures):

Let the poor guy have his own opinion. Regardless of the fact that he doesn't really like Snow White, it doesn't mean he's not worthy to be here. He's obviously a Disney fan.

However, this opinion is Heresy!!! And for it you must burn!!! Just kidding!

I'm sure he knows we are kidding.

You should rewatch Cinderella though.

French art:

...

gotcha hey! :D just a fan art but it could be a french art as it is simply beautiful just like the official great covers from Pocahontas or Lilo SE.

Yeah you got me there! (just like with the Song of the South cover)

This cover art is a tad bussier than the Pocahontas and Lilo & Stitch ones, but it still is fairly simple :) I like it! But I don't think Disney will use anything like that, even not on the french release. It's like in the middle of a Busy cover and a very simple cover like the Pocahontas in France release. Nice though!
