Then, Chip ‘N’ Dale make themselves at home in Donald’s train set in “Out Of Scale”. It’s romantic mayhem when Chip ‘N’ Dale like the same girl in “Two Chips And A Miss”. In “Food For Feudin’ ”, Pluto wants to hide his bones in the same tree where Chip ‘N’ Dale store their acorns!

Next, it’s the holidays and Chip ‘N’ Dale fight with Donald over the goodies under his tree in “Toy Tinkers”. Guess who invites themselves over for Donald’s pancakes in “Three For Breakfast”?

I really hope this is the Fantatic Four boxed set, we usually only get the single DVDs of Marvel's cartoon series. This would be our first boxed set of a cartoon series.

Because there has never been any sense whatsoever to BVHE International releases.

Why is it rated PG for children under the age of 15? Isn't that a bit silly?

I'm not sure what you mean by silly? Well, maybe our ratings system isn't as carefully structured as yours, but for the most part it actually informs the consumer of things that they may not want to see. It is a recommendation, anyway, not a strict rule. They are just making a "serving suggestion" - if you are a younger viewer, parental guidance may be necessary.

Working in a library, the amount of parents who don't actually read those things is astounding. Bringing up an MA 15+ title (which is restricted to 15 years and older) and saying "Is this appropriate for my 5 year old?" simply because it is animated.

In my view, the Lion King is quite dark, yet is shown to toddlers. "Kill him!" Tarzan deals with some pretty heavy themes, with his parents being killed in the opening sequences. Death is always a curly subject for tiny tots, and PG is our one step above G. (For comparison, our M would be your PG-13). Not every ratings system is the same, you know. Mind you we mature a lot faster - our drinking age is 18, the US is 21.

At any rate, the cover does look pretty horrid.

I never said anything bad about your rating system. I hope I didn't insult you, it was not my intention! What I meant by silly is that in my opinion, a PG rating is a bit much for a movie like Tarzan in any country or any rating system.

BTW, in Israel our drinking age is 18 aswell. Also, I would never criticize a rating system, we barely even have one for movies, not to mention DVDs.

Didn't think you were. But as I said, the film opens with a death, and has several life-threatening circumstances in it, which to me is probably a bit much for General audiences.

Anyways, getting away from the "Aussie news" element of the thread

Loomis will Australia get a DTS 5.1 or a DD 5.1? cause the R1 was a DD 5.0 no LFE.

The site says DD 5.1 at the moment. Of course, that could all change...

And BV has slated "The Golden Girls" Seasons 1, 2 and 3 for release August-September.

In case you didn't know and if you can't wait until August/September... The Golden Girls will start to re-air again on FOX Classics on cable from April 04.
