New picture of the musical. I don't like the make up of the beast. It doesn't look like him. And I don't like his braids neither.

Good thing Emma Watson wasn't hired to give her unsolicited opinion on what the dress should look like.

So they cut No Matter What, the reprise, Maison des Lunes and The Battle?

I’m sure the battle is still there. It’s just not listed as a song because it really isn’t one to begin with.
Also, I really don’t like the Beast’s look here because it’s just the actor with a beast “nose” and horns. I mean, come on. Even the Beast in the 2011 touring production had more effort put into his design.

I was disappointed by that too.

But in the playbill, instrumental pieces are listed as well.

The Battle has always been listed, however, down to the cast recording (much like The Wolf Attack). But just to be sure, I talked with people who have seen the show and they indeed confirm it has been cut.
I like the Beast's design here. It wouldn't be the design I would go with if I were making a new production but it seems to make sense on the whole production.

I like the Beast's whole look. I like the bodice and sleeves of Belle's ball gown. I like the anachronistic Eiffel Towers on Mrs. Potts' skirt. I like the rose archways. I like Belle's final scene look. That's it.

You can listen to some of Angela Lansbury's narration of the prologue in this new
promo.

I like that she's the narrator in this version of the show.

Wait, what? So we don’t see the castle staff kicking the villagers’ butts? That’s such a huge shame.

I find this comment mean-spirited.

The revival show is coming to Tokyo in 2022. The Japanese production got a different logo from the British one.

I hope that a revival come to Spain someday... The last production that we had was in 2012, 10 years ago. Stage said a few years ago that they had plans to bring Frozen and Alddin but instead of bring these shows they brought Tina: The musical. And the worst thing is that they removed Anastasia to put Tina's show when Anastasia was better.... I think that Beauty and the Beast is a show that works really good, it's a show that everybody loves and I think it would work great in these times where lot of people are afraid about going to theaters because of the covid.
