I do not agree with much on Disney these days cuz they are too woke for my tastes. But this I agree with. Taking a family friendly show and loading it with profanities and sex is not wholesome for the children. I would not show it to my own.

I don't think they were going do that exactly. going a more mature route doesn't have to be that blatant. But even if they were, so what? This is for the fans, who are now grown.

I agree... This was never going to be aimed at children and likely would've been blocked unless you had parental-approved access, I imagine, even if it had happened.

Looks like Hilary Duff is hinting Disney and her are coming closer to resuming production on the Lizzie McGuire revival again, saying that since "Disney+ was new when they started at the time," but not new anymore, she's optimistic it'll come back into production:

Actually, cancelling Lizzie McGuire happened under Iger in early February 2020 before he selected Chapek, so under Iger it would have been no, and under Chapek it would have been yes as he was the one who fought for adult content on US D+ to make it compete with Netflix. But even though Chapek's gone, the parental controls in the US are still there and the last mature content that came to US Disney+ under Iger when he came back was the TV-MA-rated overseas original series Our Only Chance (also called "La Ultima" in Spain) and the Nat Geo documentary about Biden's botched exit of the US army and a number of immigrants from the Iraq/Iran War, "Retrograde." So, maybe Iger's now warming up to and realizing adult content on US Disney+ can work now, even against the uptight, conservative, cowardly, fear-changing, racist-led, Obama-hating Parental TV Council. So, I guess now, it is a maybe that could soon be "yes."

That's true, they recently did roll out the parental controls.

that this show comes out.

Maybe the success of HIMYF has proven to Disney that keeping Hillary Duff around is a good idea.

I was expecting a newly shot clip, but they just used stock footage. Still amusing I guess, but not what I was hoping for, which was to see Duff today dressed in character.

The script from the reboot has leaked. I’ve listened to all the writer’s interviews and it’s definitely 100% legit. And it’s great. I can’t believe they didn’t let this air.

Yeah, they made a mistake canceling this one. It would have been millennial catnip.
